Heart and Mind - How To Train Your Dragon

Chapter 3

Hiccup's pov

- Hiccup, get up, the training is about to start - I heard a voice and immediately opened my eyes, when I did I saw Gobber waiting expectantly for me to wake up - you finally got up, now please hurry up because the training is about to start

- He's already getting up - I said

I quickly got up, put on my vest and went outside, after 10 minutes we reached the arena where everyone was waiting.

- well, how long can you wait - said Snotlout

- okay, let's start - Gobber announced, opening the arena gate - behind this door there are various species of dragons, such as the gronkel and the deadly neder.

Because I stopped listening to these words, I only woke up when the piece of meat was released - the grape, that's what I called it.  Immediately the dragon looked at me with tender eyes and moved towards the twins, getting rid of their shield which they were arguing about.

- Tuffnut, Ruffnut is gone - said Gobber

Immediately after that, the dragon flew at Fishlegs, but he ran away and hid.  He then flew to Astrid and Snotlout.  Snotlout fell off due to the filter test with Astrid.  Finally, it was me and Astrid left, the piece of meat immediately flew at Astrid and shot at the shield, which shattered into pieces.  I jumped between Astrid and the gnockle and very gently chased the dragon into its cage.

- I'm sorry, I'll bring you and the rest fish and rocks later - I whispered, but the dragon heard it well and let himself be locked in the cage.  When I closed the door and turned around, I saw everyone standing still and looking at me with surprise

- is that the end for today?  - I asked - great, it's me... I'm going bye

I ran out of the horse and went to the forest to Toothless.  When I arrived, he attacked me with his tongue

- Toothless, you know it doesn't wash off - I said with fake anger

Toothless was walking towards me and I went to the lake and tried to wash it off.  After an hour, it worked and I finally told Toothless what happened on the first day of training.

- we have to escape from here, but first I will try to win the training and convince Vikings that dragons are wonderful creatures - I said and got on Toothless's saddle and we went on a 2-hour flight.

I went home and took a basket with fish and rocks and took it to the dragons in the arena and promised that I would release them soon.
I talked to them for a while and then I went in and did my job for the day.  When I got there, I found Gobber there.

- Hello, Gobber - I greeted - what to do today?

- Hello Hiccup, just this pile of iron - he announced and returned to his work.  I immediately got to work.

- and by the way, young one, you took care of that dragon nicely

- nothing, I just closed it

- well, they don't take credit for themselves, now finish it and go home

- Okay - i told

I finished work, said goodbye to Gobber, and went home.  I immediately went to sleep thinking about what the next days would bring.

The next chapter was supposed to be up earlier but I had internet problems.  I hope you like it.  In about 2/3 of the chapters the action will unfold.
