Chapter 9

*3 months later*
Hiccup's Pov
It's been 3 months since I met El, I can safely say that she became like a sister to me that I never had. Ellina told me her story, as I told her mine, it turns out that she lived on an island where dragons were killed, but she claimed that dragons were not monsters, she was also the daughter of a chieftain. She ran away when her father told her to kill a dragon. But while she was sailing, she was caught in a storm, and that's how she ended up on our and the dragons' island, there was no fighting like I thought.

But going back, during this time a little has changed, we built greenhouses, it turned out that Ellina is interested in herbalism, a few more cottages and a fortress. Since then, I also managed to train her dragon with my sister, it took a while, 3 months, but she finally has her friend Lina - a light fury, but we prefer the term white fury, during this time they have already grown close to each other.  I have also started learning Dragonese, I can understand a few words but I still have a long way to go.

Together with Szcerbatek we made a plan to defeat the red death, we told our plan to the girl, there are a few doubts but we have to act.

We were just on our way to the hellish isthmus, when we arrived we started the first phase of our plan - to scare her from the nest.

Toothless together with Lina started shooting plasma at the nest, after a few shooters our enemy emerged. She tried to eat us but we flew away in time, Ellina on her dragoness started shooting arrows into her eyes to blind her. Suddenly she emerged her wings and started flying towards me and Toothless, this ruined our whole plan, but in my head I formed an emergency plan, I told the muzzle to fly into the clouds, which he did, of course this reptile was flying after us.  When we were already in the clouds and she couldn't see us, bud started shooting plasma at the red death, unfortunately it started breathing fire everywhere it went, it hit the morka's dart which made it burn, we didn't have much time. We started flying down, after a while I gave the signal to Toothless to shoot.

We managed to defeat the red death, when we tried to avoid its tail, the dart burned completely and the tail of this beast hit me in the head, before losing consciousness all I heard was the roar of its face filled with pain.

Ellina's Pov
I saw Hiccup fall into the fire, tears started to come to my eyes, during these 3 months we became closer to each other, he became a brother to me. When the fire went out I immediately flew with Lina to look for Hiccup.

- Hiccup, Hiccup, Hiccup you idiot don't be silly - I started calling him, but nothing, finally I saw Toothless and my heart stopped for a moment.

When I coded in my head what happened I immediately ran to him to see his condition. The wounds didn't look serious, but I have to dress them.

- Girl, can you quickly run to fill this bucket with water? - I asked my dragoness and gave her the bucket. When Lina flew, her face woke up - thanks to Tora, where is Hiccup Toothless?

After I said that, Toothless spread his wings revealing an unconscious boy, he was more injured than Toothless. I immediately took him and started dressing his wounds, unfortunately one of his legs was bitten off, but luckily he was alive.

At that moment, my reliable dragoness flew in with water. When I managed to dress Hiccup and Toothless, we started thinking about how to get to our island, there I have more herbs and bandages that will help these two recover. After a dozen or so minutes, we were already on our way to Gift Island (that's what Hiccup called the island).

*2 weeks later*
Hiccup's POV
I felt a terrible headache, I tried to open my eyes but I immediately closed them because of the light, after a while I got used to it and opened them fully, I was in my room in the hut. When I was thinking about how I got here, El entered the room, when she saw me she looked as if a weight had been lifted from her heart.

- Well, you finally woke up, thanks to Tora - she said and I started to wonder how long I had been gone.

- What happened, how long had I been sleeping? - I asked

- You defeated the Red Death with Toothless, unfortunately the muzzle's wing burned and you fell - she answered and the memories started to come back to me - you slept for 2 weeks

- How long??? - I was shocked but I had to quickly check on the muzzle - and what about Toothless?

- He was much better, he got better after 3 days, he's currently sitting downstairs and worried about you - I tried to get up but I fell

- Where's my leg? - I asked slightly scared

- Unfortunately when I found you the leg was bitten off, I'm sorry - Ellina said with tears.

- hey hey nothing happened, it's not your fault - I told her and tried to get up with the prosthesis that El made, as it turned out, she did well considering she doesn't know much about blacksmithing, of course I'll make my own, but she made a very good prosthesis.

When I took my first step I immediately fell over Ellina came up to me and held me up.

- I'll help you - she said and helped me go down.

When I was walking the first thing that greeted me was Morki's tongue, you can see that he missed me a lot, I'll have to make it up to him somehow.

- Scare me like that again and I'll kill you, do you understand? - El said firmly, but after a moment she started crying, I immediately hugged her - I was so scared Hiccup, when I saw you falling into that fire, I thought I lost you.

- There you go, I'm safe, well maybe not safe but healthy, and it's thanks to you, thank you, little sister - I tried to calm her down by stroking her hair, after a while she calmed down - You won't get rid of me that easily.
