Fun Facts!
❁ To think of a name and animal for Misaki and Haru's friend, Turning Red was the hype, so I decided to go with "Mei the Red Panda" because of it.

❁ As I was thinking of another name for our Pomeranian friend, Makoto came to mind because I play Genshin. So, I named her after Ei's sister 💀

❁ Misaki would have been a small white animal, but I wanted to play around with the omnivore side of Beastars. However, I was picky with the animal characteristics, so I stuck with human.

❁ Despite knowing that there aren't any humans in Beastars, a what-if came to mind: What if they did find humans and made facilities for their safety?
What you read from the Prologue came to be, and I want to play around with this kind of AU.

❁ How the name Tarok came to be was asking my sister a random name, and she went with that. I asked my lover what animal he should be, and he answered Eagle. It was perfect because I made him Filipino, so I went with "Tarok the Philippine Eagle" as they're a rarity now.
