Chapter 11 | Together

"Knotting?!" Misaki blushed. "You know it?" He asked nervously as he carried her. Despite wearing her PE uniform, Legoshi insisted that she wear his polo. "I think I remember learning that from the facility," she shared. "Isn't knotting like... one way to mark someone as theirs?" She asked blushingly.

"It's this kind of bonding that Alphas have to go through," he explained. "I didn't think you were an Alpha, Legoshi. Isn't that Alpha, Beta, and Omega status not a thing anymore?" She questioned. "Yeah, it isn't a thing anymore, but it's still part of a wolf's history," he shared. "Why do you ask if I know about it?" She asked. "I... uh," he nervously looked away from her.

"Did you knot me?" She asked, and he didn't dare to look her in the eye. "Legoshi." Misaki forced him to look at her. As he looked at her, she didn't look mad, rather, she looked delighted. "I've realized something," she smiled as she swung their hands together. "We've confessed, we fucked all night and said our ❝I love yous.❞ Then, we act as if we've been dating for a year," she giggled again.

"Would you want..."

Misaki hummed, noticing how nervous Legoshi was. "Do you want to marry me?" He asked. "What?!" Misaki looked shocked, "Aren't we skipping a step?" As much as she wanted to be with him forever, she wanted to experience what dating him was like. "Well, we both love each other, and we've gone intimate like a married couple," he listed and stopped to feel her hug him.

"I love the thought. It's tempting," she said, "But I want to get married after college and when we're financially stable," she smiled. "That's a good plan," he kissed her cheek. "Does that mean I can call you my boyfriend?" She asked in excitement. He timidly nodded and held her tight. She giggled, wrapping her arms around his neck.

"My love," he nuzzled her neck. "My hero," she smiled widely.

"You snore so cutely, you know that?"

"Was I loud?"

"Not as loud as me, that's for sure."

When they got back to where the Meteor Festival would take place, they found their clubmates discussing in a hurry. They got Bill and Dom's attention, and everyone eventually noticed the two. "We're sorry we worried you guys," Misaki smiled to reassure them. "We're alive and kicking," Legoshi added as he held one hand up, the other holding onto Misaki still.

One thought came to mind for all the curious boys.

"Did he just fucked Misaki-senpai? The human?"

The new couple had to separate. Legoshi for his severe injuries and the Facility inspecting Misaki. Legoshi stayed by Misaki's side, making sure she was safe with trusted people. "Thank you for saving Misaki," Tarok bowed to Legoshi after the wolf had settled her inside the car and muttered sweet reassurance to one another.

"It's no problem. I told her that I'd take good care of her," Legoshi told the eagle. "Hmm... so you're the wolf she shares so fondly about," Tarok smiled. "She talks about me?" Legoshi asks. "All the time," Tarok nodded. "Now, take care of your injuries. Rest assured, we'll bring Misaki back before the festival," the older eagle reassured.

"Thank you, sir," Legoshi bowed. "We'll be on our way now," Tarok nodded to Legoshi and joined Misaki on the ride home. "Does anyone besides the school know about my whereabouts yesterday?" Misaki asked. "That stupid mayor was egotistic about his image that he'd rather kill you off to not disturb the peace," Tarok told her.
