Chapter 5

As the light came back, they grew conscious about what they were doing. They drifted apart immediately. Jungkook and June became nervous and stayed silent for some time. As there was an awkward silence between them, Ana decided to speak. I said in one breath," It's pretty late now. I think I should leave now. Keep the project with you for today."
Saying that Ana rushed out of the living room and came outside of his house. He followed her and stopped at his door. Then he said nervously, "well. T-take care." Then he shut the door after Ana left his place.
At night,
As Ana was lying on the bed, those moments flashed before her eyes again. Ana was blushing for a moment but then she thought deeply," What the hell!? What was that!?Wait but what if it's just a attraction? How am I supposed to control them when I am going to see him again at school!? I wonder if he is feelings the same things as me."
Ana tried to sleep while thinking these things.
On the Other hand, Jungkook was walking back and forth, in hus room,thinking about today's incident.
"Omg! I am losing my mind now. Why her out of everyone!? Am I catching feelings....? No!no!no!" Saying these things he went to his bed to sleep.
Even though he knew, he wasn't going to sleep today due to the excitement of the incident.
Next day.
At school.
Ana came and sat on her seat. She didn't notice Jungkook there and sighed a relief. But then Jungkook came in and saw Ana. They got a little nervous as they exchanged some glances. Then Ana narrowed her eyes and continued to talk to her frined and Jungkook started to talk to his friends. After the classes. Ana was going to the canteen when she saw a poster of in the hallway. She looked at it and found out that the school magazine was selecting pictures for their cover page. So interested people can give them the soft copy of their Photography. A smile crept upon her lips, as she saw the poster.
On the other hand, After the classes Jungkook didn't have a chance to talk to Ana. So he was seeking for her when he found her in the hallway, smiling at a poster. He got curious and stood behind Ana as he was also stared at the poster. Then he looked at Ana and said, " So are you a photographer too? ". Ana gasped as she heard his voice right from her back.
Ana turned back and faced him. "Yeah well." She chuckled
nervously and spoke again," I am thinking about giving it a try, you know. " Ana looked at the poster again while saying it.
Jungkook maintained his dark eyes upon her and said, "Well. Good luck with that. And yes. I have submitted the project today. Let's hope we get a good result for our hardwork."
" You have submitted the project? Well. Let's hope for the best then. " Ana said and smiled at Jungkook.
As Ana was about to leave the hallway. He spoke again. "Ana" he called me from behind. As he came closer to her , he said nervously, " Can we.. You know... We... Wanna drink coffee with me? ".
Ana was dumbfounded by this sudden question. She was only able to utter only one thing,"huh?".
Jungkook cleared his throat and said," I mean, we should give each other reward as we did so much hard work during this week. Right? ".
Ana said," But the results aren't out now. What if we.... ".
He didn't let me finish her statment, he said, " What if we fail? Come on Ana. We worked like hell for this project. Do you think we are going to fail this easily? And what if we fail? If we fail, we are going to do it again, until it's not perfect." Jungkook gave her a comforting smile and spoke again in a soft tone," Let yourself enjoy some small moment, Ana. Or you are going to regret it as an adult."
Ana looked down for a bit then she said, " You are right. Maybe I am over thinking over this small thing. Yes! We are going to do it Again, If we fail." I smiled after finishing my statement.
Then both exchanged warm smile and went to the canteen.
Same day at Jungkook's house.
Jungkook came to the living room where was Do-hee too. He saw Do-hee typing something on her phone really fast , as if she was having a heated argument through the messages. Jungkook said, "Everything fine? Potato?"
Do-hee made a annoyed face and said, " Yes. Mr. Carrot."
As she mutes her phone and places it on the table. Jungkook asked Do-hee, "Want coffee?". She nodded as yes immediately. Jungkook chuckled at this behavior and started to make coffee. As he gives a cup of coffee, he asked Do-hee something unexpected. He said
," Potato, is Ana a photographer? ".
While sitting on the couch, Do-hee took a sip of coffee and said," A professional Photographer?. Well no. But she is a good photographer indeed. If she wasn't focusing on her medical, she would have become a good photographer. But why did you asked about her? ". Jungkook cleard his throat and said,"Well. I should know whom I was doing my project with."
Do-hee raised her eyebrows and said with a shocked tone," You and her!? Partner in Project!? "
Jungkook rolled his eyes and said, " So what? We didn't had the chance to change partner back then. So we ended up pairing. It's not what I wanted. Not with her at least."
Do-hee said, " Aish! Don't be mean again. Ana is not that bad person as you thought her to be. Rather she is the most soft hearted girl among us. "
Jungkook said with a sarcastic tone, " Yeah? Well!your dear, soft hearted best friend kicked my ass in the classroom that day! "
Do-hee said, " Maybe she had her reasons. She doesn't even kill insects without any reason. ".
Jungkook said,"And how is that?".
Do-hee replied with a chuckle ," Once a dragonfly got stuck in a her dress as it's outer layer was made with net. Instead of slaping it or harming it. She carefully cut that part of the net from the dress and slowly freed the dragonfly's legs. She was a kid when she did it. She told me that it was her birthday dress for her 10th birthday which she ruined for saving that dragonfly and we both laughed on this incident"
Jungkook stayed silent after hearing this. Do-hee spoken again with a sigh, " She is just like a mirror, Jungkook, where people can see their reflection. If they are ugly or beautiful.That's why she has only a few friends."

As their conversation ended, Jungkook came to his room and tried to think what she told him. He muttered to himself, " Who the hell cuts her own dress for a dragonfly on birthday ? Stupid girl. " Jungkook said the last sentence with a soft chuckle and laid down on the bed. He said with a slightly astonished tone, " What is happening to you Jungkook? Is this called 'catching feelings for someone'? Is this even real?" He stayed silent for a moment then said, "And if it's real,then I will make sure to make it beautiful."
