Chapter 8

As Do-hee spoke from her room, Ana and Jungkook became conscious.They immediately drifted apart and looked down due to embarrassment . Then to avoid the awkwardness Ana said to Do-hee," The dinner is ready. Come down."
Then Ana said to Jungkook, " Can you place the plates on the table? ".
He nodded and went to the table to place the plates.
While they were eating Jungkook said," The Police told me that even though they filed a report against Mark. There is a high chance that they aren't going to arrest him. As he didn't damage or harm any people."
As they heard Jungkook, their faces became serious. Then he said, "Hey hey, at least they are giving him warning to never contact Do-hee Again. I think that's enough to make him scared." He said silent for a moment and said, " And as a bonus Ana is going to Abroad to study medicine!"
Do-hee looked at Ana and said, "Hey! Congrats dude! Finally you are getting your dreams done!"
Ana chuckled at her comment and said, " Thanks but What about you Jungkook? Do-hee do you know that the Jungkook's football team got selected to play further with schools of other cities. Congrats Jungkook. "
Ana gave him a warm smile and he gave her a warm smile back. Then Do-hee said, "Then we should celebrate!!!!"

Jungkook and Ana looked at Do-hee by raising their eyebrows and said, "Celebrate?"
Do-hee said with excitement ,"Yeah babis! As you are going too and Jungkook's team got selected for the match . I think this is the right time to celebrate."
Ana and Jungkook looked at each other then they looked at Do-hee.
Then I said," Sounds fun to me. What about Jungkook ? "
Jungkook said, " I have no problem with that. But when should we do that? "
Do-hee said," Let's do it. This Sunday. Okay!? "
Ana and Jungkook said, "Okay!"

A week later.
As Do-hee and Ana were organising food, they asked Jungkook to bring some soft drinks . Jungkook left the house to buy it .
10 minutes later the door bell rang. Hearing the door bell Do-hee said, " Jungkook came so fast! Let's celebrate babe!!!!!". She said while giggling and Ana chuckled at her this cuteness and started to cook again.
Do-hee went to open the door. When she opened the door, the smile on her face dropped as it wasn't Jungkook but Mark. He looked at her with rage in his eyes.
Mark said with a mocking tone, "Didn't you miss me, Darling?"
Do-hee wanted to lock the door but Mark kicked the door with force which made Do-hee fall. Then he came in and slapped Do-hee. On the other hand hearing a sound like bang, Ana came to the doorway and saw Mark who was slapping her. Seeing this sight Ana burst into anger and jumped on Mark without thinking twice . While impeding Mark, Ana screamed at Do-hee, "Go call Jungkook and police! Now! I will take care of him. Don't waste the time!" Hearing this Do-hee immediately went to the living room and picked her phone to dial Jungkook's number.
On the other hand, as Ana was fending against Mark she tried to punch Mark, but he dogged it easily and slapped Ana hard, which made Ana fall on the ground. Then Mark hovered over Ana and started to slap her like a maniac. Mark said while slapping her, " You were the reason she called the police! Everything was fine until you came! She was obedient to me! She used to love me!".
"You are a maniac!" Saying that Ana also punched Mark which made his lips bleed, but still he continued.
As Ana was about to faint, Ana felt that someone grabbed Mark by his neck and literally threw him at the wall. Ana looked at the person and it was none other than Jungkook. Then Jungkook came to Ana and gave her his hand. Ana took his hand and got up. Jungkook looked at her face as her lips and nose were bleeding. He touched her lips softly which made her hissed in pain. Then he looked at Mark with rage and went to him. Even though Mark was groaning at pain, Jungkook made him stand by grabbing his collar and he punched Mark in the face. This punch made Mark fall again . Then Jungkook went to punch him again but Do-hee came and said, "No! Don't! You are going to kill him! The police are on the way."
He looked at his sister and saw her right cheek was redend. He looked at her with teary eyes and said, " I am going to make this bastard pay for what he did to you two, until the Police are coming. " Saying that Jungkook kicked him in his stomach.
Ana moved Jungkook away by calming him down as he was about to kill Mark. Then the police came and took Mark with him, while he was half unconscious due to Jungkook's slaps and kicks. While Ana was calming Jungkook down, Mark said, "You guys are going to get paid for what you did moron....". Before he could finish his words Ana slapped him hard and said in an annoyed tone ,"Shut up Mark. I like it better when you are mute." Seeing me like that Jungkook got amused said in his mind, "That's my little Tigress."
Ana, Jungkook and Do-hee stood at their doorway silently while Jungkook was hugging Do-hee, as they watched Mark getting handcuffed and getting into the police car. Then Ana said while letting a sigh out ," I hope this time the basterd is going to get paid for what he did now. "

A few weeks later. Everything went back to normal. The exams of the semester started. During the exams Ana and Jungkook didn't even talk as they were busy with their studies.

One month later. As they passed their exams. Ana, Jungkook and Do-hee met in a cafe to have their small celebration.
Do-hee said, " Finally! We are having our party after this long time. "
Ana and Jungkook chuckled at her statement.
Ana said while sipping my coffee , "By the way, do you guys know when the school magazine is getting published? "
Do-hee said, "Well, I came to know that it will get published in the month of February. "
Ana said in a dissapointing tone, " February!? But I think I will be gone by that time. I really wished to see the cover page of tbe magazine before leaving. "
Do-hee became sad after hearing Ana as she said, " You will be gone. Right, right. I don't know what am I going to do without you. I am going to miss you Ana. You are best thing that happened to me." She held Ana's hand as she spoke the last sentence.
Ana also held her hand tightly and said, " So do I. I am going to miss you too. I am going to cheerish every moment we shared together. "
As Ana and Do-hee both got a little emotional Jungkook spoke up to light up the moment, " Hey, hey! Don't start crying. Both of you! You guys look like donkeys if you cry. " Ana and Do-hee both looked at Jungkook with annoyed faces as Do-hee spoke, "Donkey? Seriously? Out of all animal? Jungkook! You just ended the mood."
Jungkook said, " I ended the mood of sorrow. Now thanks me. ". He said the last sentence with a little proud tone. Then Ana and Do-hee looked at each other and then they looked at Jungkook. They both yelled at him," Shut up!".
After that the three of them chatted for a little, then said goodbyes to each other and started to go their own way. As Ana was coming out of the Cafe, Jungkook came and said from behind, " Would you mind if I join you? " I gasped a little at his sudden appearance and said, "Oh my God."
