Candice’s POV
It is 11:55 pm and I am so tired. Since I got pregnant, staying awake late isn’t something I can do anymore, but since it is New Years Eve and our last full day in the airbnb I’m gonna push thru, also they bought sparkling apple cider just for me so I have to stay up at least until 12. I start to doze off when I start to hear the countdown and join in. Everyone: “10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, HAPPY NEW YEAR” We all cheers our glasses, then Grant pulls me into a kiss. G: “Happy New Years baby” C: “Happy New Years” we all celebrate for a little while before heading upstairs to get some sleep because we have a 5 pm flight tomorrow and still need to clean up the airbnb. C: “this time next year we will have a 10 month old” G: “I know I’m so excited” C: “cheers to the new year” G: “cheers to the new year”
