Grant and Candice have been "best friends" since their break up 2 years ago, and they are both "over" each other until certain events make them realize that they can't be bestfriends anymore.
Today is the day I marry my best friend. If you would have told me 2 years ago that Grant and I would end up finding our way back to each other I would have never believed you.
I'm currently getting ready to show my bridesmaids my dress, cause in 15 minutes it's go time. I only have 4 bridesmaids, Emily, Gracie, Caity, and Danielle and then Keiynan is my Man of Honor.
I walk into their room and they're all ready and looking amazing. C: "Guys" they all turn around. CEDK: "wow you look stunning" they all say in sync. C: "you think so" K: "we know so" they all come and hug me.

E: "Grant is one lucky man, shoot I would marry you too, looking to good" C: "thanks Em" GG: "my brother might be stupid, but he was smart when he decided to marry you" C: "thanks Gracie" we chat a little more before we all take a shot to calm my nerves.
After a couple minutes my wedding planner comes in. WP: "it's go time, you ready" C: "yep, I'm finna be a wife!" I walk out and everyone lines up in front of me as I link arms with my dad whose eyes are already watery. C: "daddy don't cry already, you're gonna make me cry and I haven't even started walking down the else yet" Mr. P: "Sorry princess, it's just really hitting me that you aren't gonna be my little girl anymore" C: "I'll always be your little girl" he kisses my temple, and everyone starts walking. After the last groomsmen and bridesmaid go, the doors close again. We wait a few minutes and then running home to you starts playing and I know that's my que, and yes I know it might be corny but we both really like the song and the meaning so who cares.
Grant's POV
As I saw Candice walk down the aisle to our song, with her dad I couldn't help but to cry. She looked so beautiful even with a veil. I really can't believe I'm marrying my best friend. She makes it up to me, and I remove her veil and she looks breathtaking. She also had tears in her eyes.
We both mouth I love you's before the officiant starts. O: "Dearly Beloved and Honored Guests, we are gathered here today to join Candice and Grant in the union of marriage. This moment right here is a joyous and precious moment that also comes with its obligations and responsibilities. Please remember that love, loyalty, kindness, and understanding are the foundations of a happy and enduring married life..." "and with that we will now exchange vows Grant" here we go, I take my paper out of my pocket and just go.
G: "The day I met you back in 2014 I just knew you were the one, and not only for the role of Iris but the role of my partner and best friend for life. I tell you over and over again that my biggest mistake in life was losing you and when I got the chance to get you back, I made it my mission to do so, and based off where we are now, mission accomplished. You are my favorite person in the world, my best friend, the reason I strive to be better everyday, you make me a better person and I love you for that. You are the best mom, and everyday with you I love you more than I ever thought was possible. You teach me so much, you're the best person I know, you love me with all my quirks, flaws, constant singing and dancing, and I'm forever grateful that you love me for me. I can't wait to grow our family, not any time soon tho, raise our kids together and grow old with you. I love you and promise to love you forever, and I can't wait to call you my wife" I wipe my tears away then I use my thumb to whip hers away.
