"What do you mean, get out of here?" We had only just got into the house, I don't see why he's in such a hurry to leave already.

"I don't just mean out of the house. I mean out of this town, where it's safer and nobody there to bully or kill us. We have to run away Ali, there's no other option." He explained to me.

"What, and leave all my family here, who do you think I am. I know how much it hurt my family when Carly left, I don't want them to go through that ever again. Plus you practically only just moved here yourself so what would your Dad think to that?" I was trying to reason with him but I think he already had his mind made up.

"Ali. This man isn't just another bully. He wants to kill us and if I'm going to protect you, you have to come with me, there isn't much of a choice."

"Yeah, and if you think for one second that my Dad is going to let me move then you're going to have to re-think."

"You're 18 Ali, I think you are old enough to make your own decisions. I have enough money saved up to buy us a house and to pay the bills for about 20 years. It'll be fine. You have to trust me on this one." Tyler was pretty much on the floor and begging me.

I didn't know what to think. On one side there was my family and also my death, but on the other side, I lived and I got to be with Tyler.

"I don't think you understand how important this is Ali, our lives could be destroyed because of this man and you-"

"I do understand perfectly fine. That's why I'm coming with you." That shocked him, and me too. I can't believe I was going to leave all of this behind, my family and college. But what else could I do. Tyler could not stop hugging and kissing me, I think he got a bit too excited about the whole thing.

"When are you going to tell your family?" He finally said, pushing me out of our embrace.

"Now. What better time to tell them, we might as well go as soon as we've packed. I mean, the longer we stay, the more of a chance of getting killed, right?"

And right then, I swear I saw that smile...
