The funeral of Neteyam happened the night after his death. Everyone in the village gathered for his funeral. The sullies and me and Tsireya came back too. Everyone got patched up in time for the funeral, I was helping my sister get ready while the sullies cleaned up Neteyam's body ready to finally be with Eywa. Eclipse was round the corner, Tsireya went to meet up with Lo'ak we all new it was a hard time for the sullys. While I joined up with my mother and father in the water. Every na'vi waiting for the funeral to start.
"May Eywa let his soul find peace once again," I mumbled bowing my head as the sullys made their way to the burial site on the Ilus.
Neteyam's casket was tied onto an Ilu being pulled. Everything was silent. A few na'vi holding lanterns watching everything happen. I stood next to Khola as he let me cry my silent tears I held in. Although he didn't know Neteyam well he still cried. Neteyam was then removed from his casket being pulled down my Neytiri and Jake by their dive. The sullys all looked under the water at the glowing seaweed type grass where Neteyam would be buried. Bubbles by the cries from the devastated members of the family. The two parents rose back to the surface after letting their son into Eywa's comforting arms. He was now at peace.
Jake sully met with my parents after the funeral in the morning. He was going to leave soon with his family so theee was no more trouble. However my father let him and his family stay since his son laid with our ancestors. They were now Metkayina. I witnessed it all with my siblings and Khola by my side. But the frightening part was I had just experienced war, death and more touching things right infront of me...
