Chapter 7

When I returned to the very village that shunned me no one else hated me more that my father who was still drunk this time his word were slurred!  And I was tried to approach my mother but only ended up getting a Mona Lisa smile,  when she went to talk to my father, she then came around and talked to me.   She was shocked at how hardened I got from the jail and the treatment I was getting!  She even looked concerned that I was drinking - which I hated was drinking!

I fill exaplained everything for her that if I was to be here and nothing happens or that I am hear and it happens to someone else that that will set me free and will prove the dreaded wendigo's existence for sure! That was why I was hear, I also I wanted to introduce Chris, my public defender to my mom! Which sound fucked up but that was the size if it!  When I showed Chris my old room, he came closer to me and started kissing me!  Luckily my mom wasn't around but that idea that she was not catholic was going to give me some leeway!

"Oh my......" I heard my mother say when she that I was kissing Chris! "I won't tell a soul!"   I was afraid that my mom would tell my father and that he called the homophobic slur of all time!

"Sorry Mrs. Jean," Chris said. 

I did not want to take him somewhere where I might be accused of the murders and having the foul rumours spreading throught the village all though they did! Already!   It wasn't bad that I was prominent criminal lawyer and that I killed Trudy!  But to bring my lover again to this place where I could be accused again only with the fem boy version of Trudy! 

"So we don't scare your mom, let's go someonewhere to make out!" He said.  "Do you know any places!"

"There is one!" I said.   "The old haunted court house that has not seen humans since Louis Riel's time!"

"Perfect, for both us and your defence!"   Chris said winking!  There were always teen there who were housing that as I make out point  if you would! There would quite a few eyes on us!

When we got there there was a little bond fire party there!  We decided to go into old court house and make out there! As we did the kids soon followed us indoors we're trying to make out.   It was strange but they were busy too!  But then Chris said that he wanted a little privacy so we ended up going into the old judges chambers and we in the moon light started kissing, then one thing lead to another where we were making love.  

"So beautiful you are Chris!" I said.  Kissing his neck.   I got feel him grow at that words.  And the mid night we were at that high of our love making.
  
"Please Chris is my parents name for me.....call me Fidelity!"

"But I like Chris!" I said.

"It doesn't suit my personality!"   He said.  "Also I write poems under that name!"

"Do you want to go back now" I said.

"When we walked to the house, my childhood home we were walking down the Main Street when we were a distant scream!   There were people around at the time of the screaming and found out I was walking on Main Street during the distance faint screaming!

That was when I feel validated they saw me and I was no were near the source of the screaming!   Though faint and distant it was still blood curdling!

When we go back home I ended up telling my parents about the scream!  It was satisfying, especially to see the stunned look on my idiot father's face!

As I was going to going to bed with Chris!  I we heard another scream this one more disturbing but not close!  I was fell asleep in the arms of my lover..... I feel sane for once in my life.   Though I wanted to kiss him, I feel in a deep sleep!  

When I got back to the city I was going expect a huge apology!    Would that happen.   The next morning I saw Chris well and alive and that was wonderful!   The Wendigo did not get him like it did with Trudy!   

He was on the phone and was told that there was going to be a trial but now with the village actually seeing you at the time of screams that the police had a weak case!
