Despite each of us ordering our own appetizer, we put them in the middle and have a little of everything. Each and every bite is amazing, I can't help but tear up a little at how good everything is.
James cocks his head, "Are you crying over apps?"
I give a low laugh, "I'm not used to eating at a restaurant it's just so amazing." I blush.
"Daddy, we need to feed her more." Amelia whispers loudly to Andrew, the adults laugh, and she just looks puzzled. "What?"
Andrew pats her head, "We plan to spoil Charlotte, well as much as she'll let us that is." He gives me a searing look, that may have just made me wet. Holy moly, the three of them want me?
I'm so distracted that I miss most of the conversation that happening until it's time to order dinner. Since there are so many of us we practically order one of everything on the menu. The kids get beautifully battered fish filets that they dunk in ketchup. I order a moose burger that I've always wanted to try, it doesn't disappoint. Conversation is so easy between all of us I almost feel like I've known them for years and not a few days.
Before I know it, dinner is over, and this is the most food I've had in one setting. Every bite was amazing, I only wish Charley, and I could afford to come here once a week! As it is, every item is twenty dollars or more, my weekly budget most of the time. It's insane to think they go out to eat like this every day.
"Charlotte," Michael taps my arm, "Do you want to go look at the lake for a moment?"
I glance over at Charley who is playing some color game with Lexi. "I've got him." Andrew gives me a sly smile. I narrow my eyes at him before I let Michael lead me over to the huge windows overlooking the lake.
"I want to ask if you'd conder seeing the three of us." he says quietly. "We'd love to continue going on dates, so you get to know the each of us."
I glance up at him shyly, "Why me. I have nothing to offer. I literally wouldn't be able to afford this dinner in a year of my salary."
He smirks down at me, "We don't care if you have money or not. I personally love that you are so great with the kids, you don't see that in most women who genuinely care about other people's children. I want to know more about you. It's a total bonus that you're gorgeous."
I give a light laugh, "Alright. How about we have dinner at my house tomorrow night. If you pick up a roast at the grocery store, I can get it started in the morning, so everything is ready when I get off work. If that's okay?"
Michael's brown eyes glimmer, "You want to cook for us? And our girls?"
I grin, "Yes, I like to think I'm a pretty good cook."
"Alright then, we'll follow you to the nearest store. What am I looking for?"
I roll my eyes giving him a light shove. "You've never been shopping?"
His cheeks turn bright red, "I have a personal chef for Lexi and I. I don't really have time with my job."
"Wow, this will be an experience then for you."
He guides me back to the table, "Gentlemen, we're about to go shopping for the first time."
Amelia gasps horrified, "Like in a Walmart?"
I laugh, "We don't have one of those nearby. We'll go to Safeway, it should still be open."
Twenty minutes later and I'm holding Charley's hand and Priscilla's. I feel slightly guilty that I want one of my hands on the men's but oh well. The children need me more at the moment.
The butcher counter is closed so we head over to the prepackaged roasts. "How big should it be?" James says scratching the back of his head looking at the smaller ones.
I move us down the row to the huge roast beef section, "I'd say one of these will be enough to feed eight of us."
"Are you sure we don't need two?"
I scoff, "Yes, we also need to pick up potatoes, cabbage, brussel sprouts, and whatever other veggies you guys like."
"Those sound fine." Lexi says, "The cook always makes me eat spinach and kale." She wrinkles her nose.
"Lead the way." Andrew says grabbing the biggest roast.
I take us to the fresh section handing over the items to the girls and Charley. Charley points to the onions, "These mama."
"Oh, you're right, and we should grab more garlic too."
With our spoils we head to the check out, James pulls out his card and I want to whimper at the price of the meat, a forty-dollar roast. But it should be plenty to feed us all.
We get the kids settled in the suvs, James grabs my hand, "Can I get a kiss goodnight?"
I blush, eyes lowering down to the snow. Do people normally kiss good night on the first date? "You want one?"
The three very large men surround me, I almost swoon. I lean forward and James leans down to meet me, he presses a small kiss on my lips that I know I'll cherish forever. Andrew slides a hand across my back and presses his lips a bit firmer against mine. I let out a little moan, it's been two years since I've been kissed. Michael snags my arm pulling me flush into him before kissing me softly, almost demanding more but pulling back leaving me flushed and aching for all three of them.
"I've never been with three men," I stumble through the words not sure exactly what I'm trying to say.
James grins, "We've never shared, this is new for us too."
"We don't want to fight over you." Andrew says.
"Goodnight Charlotte, we'll see you in the morning." Michael finishes opening Rhonda's door for me. They watch me drive off before they leave.
