(Third pov)

"Get out of my office now!!" The young heiress yelled at the older woman as she watched the now fired secretary hurry out of the office.

Leaning on her hand and rubbing her temples with an audible sigh. "How can they be so worthless???!!" Picking up her phone, Sana dialed a number

"Yes Young Mistress? How may I be of assistance to you?" The voice asked from the other end "Get me a new secretary, asap." The latter didn't wait on a response and simply hung up after she said what she needed to say.

Truthfully, the heiress was rather short tempered and cold, she didn't even spare a glance longer than she had to at anyone, their status never mattered to Sana. The only people she would engage in a casual conversation in were her 2 best friends, but even then she would rarely make an effort to start one. The young Minatozaki is a rather closed off and quiet person, paired with a straightforward, sometimes rude demeanor.

Of course sometimes her personality could get on people's nerves but they wouldn't dare say a word against it. After all, what ever Sana wants, what ever she gets.

Min Y/n on the other hand, was currently in the bathroom of her aunt's house cleaning her arm of blood, why? Because her great aunt just threw a priceless vase at the her without any warning nor care if she got hurt. Y/n was just a simply toy in the eyes of her aunt that she could toy with however she liked to. How did she even get up into the care of her horrible aunt? Both her parents were killed, having no other known relatives, the police declared Y/n's aunt as her legal guardian. Neither were fond of the idea, Y/n always knew her aunt never liked her and always made sure that it was known. Before she was put into her care, her aunt would only trip or push Y/n occasionally, but after Y/n was transferred into her care, it got a worse. By tenfold

Y/n was only a college student yes, but her mind was definitely more capable and understanding than about 80% of everyone else. She skipped a couple of grades as well, leading her to be 21 and already a junior. Her mind was always sharp and she never forgot anything, anything. Thanks to her photographic memory which can be a blessing but also a hindrance.

The latter was looking for a way to get away from home, her first thought was to live in a dorm at her college, unfortunately they were all taken. So her next thought was to get a company or office job so she could occupy herself with work instead of having to deal with both the physical and mental pain. That was always her coping mechanism, burying herself in loads of work to distract herself. Of course it was unhealthy but she never had anyone to tell her so nor help her out of it and find better alternatives, so she just stayed with what she knew, like she always did. Never straying away from the comforts of familiarity, as a fact she hated trying or experiencing new things, she felt vulnerable each and every time and she hated—no— despised it
