(Sana pov)

11am. I have time left still, I could finish some more of this before I go—

*knock knock* 

"Come in"

The door opened slowly and carefully, I could already tell who it was.

"Good evening Young Miss, I've found a fitting assistant to you, she was personally recommended by my daughter as well" 

Personally recommended? By Hyuk's daughter? He has a daughter? 

I was a bit shocked that the old man standing infront of me had a daughter, of course I didn't let it show, sensing my silence he went on

"She will be arriving tomorrow at noon also" I felt as if he also wanted to give his two cents into this assistant so I nodded for him to continue 

"She is a very polite and kind young lady in my stand point, would you like me to deliver some information to you Young Miss?" Hyuk asked as he bowed slightly and clasped his hands, I nodded while shifting in my chair

"She is a college junior at the age of 21, she skipped a few grades because of her profoundness in almost every subject, I tried to find something about her family background but it seems that I am unable to, of course, I didn't use all our resources into it as I didn't know if you wanted me to. As for her parents, they aren't found in any existing records relating to her last name. Who she stays with is also unknown, nor does she live in a dorm." He gave a rather vague explanation of this girl, which wasn't exactly surprising as I didn't ask for an entire background check inside and out anyway.

"You are dismissed" I said while still looking at some of the papers I had on my desk. Without sparing a glance , I heard the door close quietly, but was still loud in the dead of night after all.

(Y/n pov)

"Ok Miss Y/n, you will meet President Minatozaki tomorrow at noon, please don't be late, she doesn't like it when people are late, especially on their first day, like you" Mr. Choi said, I bowed to him and said thank you, I  was about to walk out when the older guy called me

"Oh also..." he trailed off as I stared at him curiously "be aware that the President is often described as merciless, fearsome, heartless and brutal." He looked up to meet my eyes, which I was rather confused by, I mean I've heard about how commanding it was to even be in the Young Mistress' presence and how she was known to be cold hearted. I'm not sure what I expected from working as her secretary anyway. Going into this I knew I'd probably not get anything out of it, except time that I could waste not going home and distracting myself

(When Y/n got home)

I walked up to the door, but before opening it, I had to prepare myself for the woman on the other side. Sighing, I opened the door carefully and saw my aunt sitting comfortably on the couch waiting. Just waiting, perhaps waiting to hit me again. 

"Where have you been" she asked with not hint of worry in her voice but rather annoyance and hatred, all the tones i was use to already 

Maybe it was a bad idea, but I just shrugged and walked towards my room.

Next thing I knew, I was on the ground covering my head with my aunt kicking me repeatedly. 

"I'll teach you to not answer me you little freak" she said and I only smiled up at her which she then kicked me in the head

"I wouldn't do that if I were you" I said nonchalantly while laughing

"You little fuc— you know what." She left into another room as I stared at her direction and braced myself for the worst...
