Short life summary:

Midas supposedly had no parents, or so the gods told him. 2 others raised him up to when he turned five. Afterwards, they died and Midas had to go about life with no one else to rely on but the gods. He had trouble controlling his ability to turn what he touched to gold. There was a way to control his curse, but fear and stress kept him from achieving his goal.

When he turned about 5 and a half he decided to start an Agency on the Battle Royale island with the gods' permission, hoping that would make him feel more productive and less lonely in life. (That is around the same time he got his scar) Things started to grow little by little. The gods created henchman that weren't actual living beings or forms of life at first. Time passed and his fear and anxiety got worse. His abilities grew stronger and he became really worried about what problems he could cause to the world.

When he became a teenager he started to have bloody noses constantly because he was so stressed out. (Probably seems like useless information but it will be mentioned in the story a bit) He even began hearing voices sometimes and didn't know what to do. The gods tried to help him from time to time, they did everything they could do to help Midas cope with all these difficulties.

Later, when he was about seventeen he met Skye's mother/his wife. It is unclear who she really was though. She really helped Midas out too. She became the only one other than the gods that knew he existed, and really brought him some hope in life. When she was around, he was able to cope with his difficulties a lot more. Things really enlightened when she came into Midas' life.

Time passed, and they went through a lot together. Eventually, when Midas and his wife was 19 years old, Skye was born. Sadly, the day she was born her mother passed away. It is unknown how she died though. Midas became really sad when the person he loved passed away. He lost control of his abilities and his stress flamed up again. From there he tried his best to take care of Skye, trying to make her life as normal as possible.

While he was raising her, things lightened back up again a little. Thankfully, he took care of her well and she lives a happy life. Skye reminded Midas of his wife a lot, and that really helped him always remember her. He always told Skye stories about her mother and what a good person she was to him as well. Time passed by to the present day, and Midas still takes care of Skye, while trying to control his curse and cope with his anxiety.

His connection with the outside world and other information in case:

Midas and his daughter live in a huge mansion that thankfully, no one somehow notices. Whenever they go out into the world to get other resources they need and all that other stuff blah blah blah, (you should know what I mean) they either stay quiet and pass by making sure no one notices them, or if they are in a situation where they are usually required to be noticed, they wear disguises. Sometimes they are really awesome, sometimes they are really bad.

Midas does take Skye to school. That's mostly why she doesn't wear as much disguises as him. He drops her off in a dull, unnoticeable black car that has very dark windows so nobody will be able to see what's inside. You would probably think it should be quite gold, but driving helps him relax a little bit so not as many things are gold in the car. He makes sure Skye is always safe and always looks after her whenever he possible can.

He tries to protect Skye as much as possible. He will sometimes be very paranoid about what could happen to her, as if he ever hears that she has interacted with someone that seems even the least amount of dangerous, he will sneak up on them and turn them into gold.
