Sequel I was considering

Back when I was still writing this story down I was considering making a part 2 of this book that would explain why Midas had powers. By now, you've probably figured that this story is very similar to the Frozen movie franchise, so conveniently, my sequel was closely related to Frozen 2 as well.

It begins when Midas has good control of his powers not too far into the future after the events of part 1. He starts experiencing psychotic symptoms and dreams that are all urging him to travel to Olympus to learn more about his powers. At first, he thinks it's just his severe anxiety disorder symptoms or that he is just contracting some schizo disorder. So he dismisses the fact that all of his visions aren't delusion and hallucination and goes to get medical attention.

After the doctors say he's fine, he gets worried and goes to Dionysus and asks him if he knows anything. He said that at this point, he should try truly try taking the whole 3 man family to Olympus (city on Earth far far away out of reach for most not the real home of the gods) to find out why those voices and messages are trying to call out to him. They soon travel there and go through lots of adventure, which makes this story concept probably a lot more interesting than the novel I have written here, but what's happened has happened.

After we see what adventures the characters go through and even at sometimes get an insight POV on each of them individually (mostly focuses on Midas though obviously), they finally get through all the hardships and Midas learns that he is called to join the rest of the gods in the heavens, for he is the god of mental turmoil and the inner turbulence of others, with some cool powers to sprinkle it off. The three soon learn about this destiny and Dionysus amplifies that the prophecy he was told in his early youth of there soon being a god of mental illness has finally occurred.

The three return home while staying connected to the heavens and the gods for a short while. Afterwards, they all cease to exist and join the heavens and govern the world in their unique ways. The family of Midas reunites and Skye finally meets her mom, Tina. meanwhile on earth, the home of Midas gets discovered and the world systematically makes their stuff known and shares the location of their hidden home, but the lives of those who lived there exactly remains an unknown mystery to the regular mortals. It is a bittersweet happy ending.

...this probably could have been the part 1 to my original story huh....

So yeah, I hope you enjoyed my story lore and cinematic universe. I wrote this story during COVID when we were all extremely bored so I acknowledge now that it probably would have turned out best if I just created headcannons for these characters rather than write an entire fan book, but it'll help me learn for the future.
