Freen's POV

I haven't finished removing all my things from my temporary room. Why? Well. Blame it on Becky who keeps on sending messages to me.

*ting

I immediately took my phone that's lying on the bed and left the cord I was tidying up. The cord dropped on the floor with a thud as I plopped on the bed.

Hey you.

Just two words. I smiled widely while holding my phone over my face. I started typing a reply but also keeps on deleting it.

Hey you, too.

Nah. Too boring.

Hi. Did you miss me?

No! Too straightforward. How is it harder to send a reply to a girl you like than to located an IP Address? I took the pillow beside me and hugged it. Went back to my phone and stared at Becky's message again.

It's been 5 full minutes and I still cannot figure out what to say.

"Are done?"

Engfa burst out of my bedroom door startling me. I immediately stood up from the bed and hurriedly went back to the cord I was tidying up a while ago.

Engfa just stood there leaning on the door frame and arms crossed. She's watching me with a smirk on her face. Annoying.

"Don't let her distract you."

She said but before I can answer she was out the door and slamming it behind her. I just shrugged and made a mental note to drop by the cafe later...

Of course to just have a cup of coffee... What else?

I smiled to myself.

I finished tidying my things up at around 5 in the afternoon. I took a quick shower and head out to take a much needed coffee break.

I found Engfa sitting on the couch while reading what looked like a history book. It was a leatherbound one with pages that are already somewhere between brown and yellow. Her hair was pulled back in a pony tail and her eyes are covered by her dark rimmed glasses.

"Stop staring."

She said. I just shrugged and was about to start walking towards the door when suddenly she's already beside me.

"Damn! Don't go full assasin on me like that!"

I said. She just grinned at me and moved her face closer to my face in jest.

"Going for coffee?"

She teasingly whispered in my ears that made all the hair on my body stand on their ends.

"Gosh. You are annoying."

I said in a much calmer voice. I reached for the door knob but her hand was already holding it. What the fudge?

"What is wrong with you?"

I told her with annoyance. She chuckled beside me and opened the door. We walked to the cafe while she is still reading her book. How may eyes does this girl have?

She was able to evade all obstacles with ease and confidence.

"I know I'm amazing."

She said jokingly as if she can hear my thoughts. I'm not surprised.

After a few minutes we are now standing in front of the cafe.

"Oh. It's closed."

I was unable to mask off the disappointment in my voice and Engfa quickly used that to tease the hell out of me.
