Charlotte's POV
It's been two days since we arrived here in Thailand but we still haven't heard anything from Engfa. Her name. I still can't get used to it.
We were sitting around a table inside the study of Kiko's condo here in Thailand. The box is in the middle while we discuss our plan.
"Are you sure you have no idea where is it?"
Becky asked. I shook my head.
"Since I gave Eva the fruit, I have lost the most guarded secrets of the ancient teachings and wisdom."
I told her. I can still use my runic marick but the other things were lost. Kiko inspected the box once again while checking the globe infront of him.
"Some text suggests that the portal is somewhere In Washington DC. Atleast, according to the Masonic history."
He said. It does ring a bell. The forefathers of the United States of America are indeed members of the Masonry.
"It's possible. The Masonry are in existence for centuries now and they are the last of their kind."
I told him. He just nodded in agreement but still thinking.
"However, the future has changed a little. It is also possible that the Eastern Star is still existing."
I said. I closed my eyes and tried to remember. My memories of the Eastern Star are all hazy.
"I don't think so. Unless, they went underground and hid their existence from the world."
It was Kiko. I feel like they are still here. I might be able to call to them.
"I'll try to call to them."
I verbalized my thoughts. Becky is busy with her book.
"I need your help with this one."
I told her. She raised her head and looked at me in confusion.
"My magick may not be powerful enough to make a bridge through them."
I told her. I need a little boost. She nodded but I saw hesitation in her eyes. I touched her hand to feel her vibration.
I smiled at her.
"You're alright. Your vibration. It's almost at par with mine."
I assured her. She smiled a little calmly now. Kiko's phone rang and he immediately answered it.
We watched him. Hoping it's Engfa.
"Yes, this is he."
He said. His eyes lit up by what the other person is telling him.
"Yes. Yes, of course."
He keeps on talking on the phone but he suddenly stood up and walked towards his room. He stayed there for a few minutes and we waited in anticipation.
He was smiling when he went back.
"Get your beauty sleeps. Tomorrow we will have a conference with Engfa Waraha."
He said. My heart skipped a bit. I felt the anticipation building inside of me but there's also fear. Fear of what may happen once I see her face to face again.
Kiko looked at Becky.
"And Freen Sarocha."
Becky's face lit up. Excitement was painted all over her face. She can't stop herself from smiling.
