"We need to do something but we need you to open your minds."

Charlotte said. They were sitting around Engfa's living room after they received the news.

"I need to tap on your memories."

Charlotte said again. Engfa and Freen shared a look but stayed silent. Charlotte looked at Becky silently asking her to help her. Between them, Becky is the smooth talker.

Becky took the hint. She stood up from where she's sitting and walked infront of them.

"If it's not urgent, we will not do this. However, the weight of the wolds is on our shoulders."

She said emphasizing the word worlds. Freen looked adamant but Engfa looked like she's in deep thoughts. She took a deep breath before standing up.

"I'll do it. My gut is telling me that it's the right thing to do."

She said. She turned her gaze on Freen whose arms are still crossed infront of her.

"I am having dejavu. Did we have did conversion before?"

Freen suddenly said. Becky and Charlotte looked at each other.

"Well, yes. I was there."

It was Becky. Freen looked more confused now. Engfa walked towards the back of the couch where Charlotte is sitting. She put both of her hands on her shoulders. Charlotte's hand automatically held one of Engfa's hands and looked at her reassuringly. Freen looked at them and narrowed her eyes at the sight.

"Let's get this straight once and for all. Freen, there is really nothing you can do about this."

Becky said while pointing at Charlotte and Engfa. Freen looked at her in dismay. She shook her head.

"Or should I tell them what we did before we went here? Or atleast what we were doing before Heidi called you?"

Becky said. She did not mask the annoyance in her voice. Engfa gasped before looking at Freen whose face is now turning red. She raised both her hands up in surrender.

"We're both single!"

Freen said in her defense. Becky rolled her eyes at her before looking at Charlotte. Charlotte chuckled a bit but did not let Freen see it.

"I keep on forgetting how stubborn this one is."

Becky said before looking at Engfa.

"If you're sure, Charlotte will help you."

She told her. Engfa nodded and then squeezed Charlotte's shoulder. Charlotte took a deep breath before standing up.

Charlotte's POV

I took Engfa's hand while we were sitting across each other on her bedroom floor. I don't know if I should do this because I know that her memories are mostly painful. The agony she went through when her father left them after her mother died. She was just a young kid back then.

I met her while she was stealing apples from out tree inside the courtyard because her sister wanted some but they are too poor to buy. I remember young Eva's face now. So innocent. Full of dreams and life.

"Hey. What happened."

She asked. I blinked my eyes realizing that tears are flowing from them. I immediately wiped them off and then smiled.

"I... It's going to be tough. Just remember, I am here. Do not let go of my hands."

I told her. She nodded and then closed her eyes. I closed my eyes before summoning a rune. I asked Becky to protect the room so that Win will not sense our energies.
