Violet and Sadie were sitting down in their Math class with ten minutes left in the period. Their Math teacher was coming around and passing out the Math tests that they took.

"Sadie, 100% as always. Nice job." The teacher said as she placed Sadies test down.

Sadie smiled as she picked up the test and looked at the written A+. The teacher handed out a few more tests before she got to Violet.

"And Violet." The teacher placed Violets test on the desk. "98%. Impressive."

Violet quickly looked up at the teacher and then picked up her test. She didn't expect to actually pass. Guess studying with Sadie actually worked.

The bell rang and Violet put all her things back in her backpack. She looked over at Sadies desk to see that she already left class. Violet put on her backpack, grabbed her test, and left the classroom.

She walked to Sadies locker to see her standing there exchanging her books with Millie right next to her. Violet smiled as she ran over to Sadie, grabbing on to her arm and holding up her test.

"I passed!"

Sadie looked at Violets test, a big smile forming on her face. "See, I knew you could do it!"

Violet wrapped her arms around Sadies neck, hugging her. "All thanks to you."

Sadie blushed as she wrapped her arms around Violets waist. She looked at Millie and saw her smirking. Sadie rolled her eyes at Millie and Violet pulled away from the hug.

"What did you get?" Violet asked.

"Uh, 100." Sadie answered.

"Smart ass." Violet teased. "We should go out for ice cream and celebrate."

Sadie nodded with a smile. "Okay."

"Tonight at 7?" Violet asked.

"Sure." Sadie said.

"Okay. I'll see you then." Violet replied before running off.

Sadie watched Violet run down the hall before looking back at Millie. Millie still had that smug smirk on her face.

"What?" Sadie asked.

"I've never seen Violet act like that around someone." Millie said. "I think she really likes you."

Sadie shook her head with a small smile. "Violet and I are just friends."

"I don't think friends kiss each other and go on late night dates to the Brooklyn bridge." Millie said.

"That- that's different. That's Spiderwoman and Violet." Sadie told her as she shut her locker. "Violet sees me as a friend."

"Look, Violet is like the apex predator of this school, but around you she's like... a little puppy." Millie told Sadie as the two started to walk to their next class.

"Maybe she's just comfortable enough to show me who she really is." Sadie tried to think of an excuse.

"Because she trusts that you will never judge her." Millie said.

"What's your point?" Sadie asked.

"My point is that she trusts you enough to show you that she's really a sweet, innocent girl, so you should trust her enough for you to show her who Spiderwoman really is." Millie answered.

"I do trust her. I trust her a lot." Sadie said with a small smile. "I'll show her tomorrow night."

Later that night, after dinner, Sadie walked across the street to pick up Violet. She knocked on the Hart's door and after a few seconds Violets brother opened up the door.

"Hey, Matt." Sadie said. "I'm here to pick up Violet."

"Violet!" Matt yelled as he walked back inside. "Sadie is here!"

Sadie waited a few more seconds before Violet came running down the stairs. She jumped the last two steps before running to the door.

"Wait, Violet! You were supposed to do the dishes!" Camila yelled as she rushed out of the kitchen with a towel in her hand only to see that Violet was already out the door. "Violet!"

Violet quickly shut the front door and grabbed Sadie's hand, pulling her away from the house. The ice cream parlor was only a 10 minute walk so it was perfect for them since they only had their permits.

"What's your favorite ice cream flavor?" Sadie asked Violet as they walked into the parlor.

"Rocky road." Violet answered. "What about you?"

"Vanilla." Sadie answered.

"Vanilla?! You basic bitch." Violet laughed.

"Shut up, V." Sadie smiled.

"V? Did you steal that from your spider friend?" Violet asked.

"Huh?"

"Spiderwoman is the only who calls me V." Violet told her.

"Oh. Sorry." Sadie said.

"No, no, no, it's okay." Violet quickly assured her. "You can call me V. I liked it."

Sadie blushed with a small smile. "Okay."

Once the two girls got their ice cream, they went to sit down at a table. They ate their ice cream as they talked about random things.

"So did Spiderwoman ever show you her face?" Sadie asked.

Violet shook her head 'no'. "She said she needs more time to get comfortable around me because she's afraid to show me who she really is. Although I wish there was a way I could show her that I don't care what she looks like. I like her for her, you know?"

Sadie nodded with a small smile. "Yeah. I think she'll show you soon."

"You really think so?" Violet asked with hope and Sadie nodded.

Once the girls finished their ice creams, they started their walk back home. When they got back home, Sadie walked Violet all the way up to her front door just to make sure she was safe. Classic superhero and potential girlfriend behavior.

"You really didn't have to walk me to my front door." Violet smiled.

Sadie shrugged. "I had to make sure you got home safe."

Violet playfully rolled her eyes before hugging Sadie. Sadie smiled as she hugged Violet back.

"I'll see you at school tomorrow." Violet said to Sadie as she opened up her front door.

"Violet!" Camila yelled the second the front door opened.

"Oh boy." Violet whispered.

Sadie let out a small chuckle as Violet walked into her house and shut the door.
