At lunch, Violet harshly set her lunch tray down and sat down next to Abigail. Her three friends looked at Violet with furrowed eyebrows.

"What's up with you?" Abigail asked.

"I got detention for the rest of the week." Violet complained.

"Why?" Anthony asked.

"Because Mrs Schultz wouldn't help me with my essay, so then I cursed her out and she didn't like that so she said 'you better watch your attitude Miss Hart or else I'll take you to the principals'." Violet explained.

"Then what did you say?" Liam asked.

"I told her i'd take her to the retirement home." Violet replied causing her friends to laugh.

Violet and her friends started to eat their lunch and talk about random things. Sadie sat down next to Violet a few minutes later, wrapping her arm around her shoulders.

"Hey, babe." Sadie greeted.

"Hi." Violet smiled as she looked at Sadie.

"Do you wanna come over after school?" Sadie asked.

Violet frowned. "I can't. I have detention after school for the rest of the week."

"Can you come over after detention? I need your help with something." Sadie told her.

"Sure. What do you need my help with?" Violet asked.

Sadie glanced over at Violets friends before leaning in to whisper in her ear. "Superhero stuff." 

"I'll be there." Violet smiled.

"Thanks, hon." Sadie kissed her on the lips before standing up and walking to her own table.

"Are you guys gonna have sex tonight?" Anthony asked.

"What?!" Violet widened her eyes. "No! We're not at that point yet. We haven't even made out."

"Why not?" Liam asked.

"We've only been dating for a week and half. You dont think thats too soon to have sex with someone?" Violet asked.

"I think it would be too soon if you and Sadie had just met but you've known each other for forever." Abigail told her. "I'm surprised you haven't made out with her yet."

"Why?" Violet furrowed her eyebrows.

Abigail shrugged. "Usually when you meet a girl at a party you make out with her within the first ten minutes of meeting."

"I know, but Sadie's different. She's not like every other girl I've been with. She's the first girl i've been in a committed relationship with. I don't wanna mess anything up." Violet told them.

"Sounds like someone's in love." Anthony teased.

"I'm not in love, dipshit." Violet snapped.

When detention was over, Violet made her way out of school. She walked home to put her backpack in her room before making her way across the street to Sadie's.

When Peter let Violet into the house, she went upstairs and into Sadie's room. Violet looked around before she saw Sadie reading a comic book and laying down in a hammock made out of webs.

"Everytime I see you you're doing something extra with your powers." Violet chuckled.

Sadie smiled as she closed her comic book and stood up. She set the book down in the web hammock and walked over to Violet. She was wearing a sports bra and sweatpants. Violet's eyes trailed down to Sadie's biceps, then to her abs, then back into her eyes.
