Later that night, Mercedes was sitting on the couch with Ashleigh, looking over magazines...
"She's so pretty. I have to find out who does her hair. "Celebrity Beauty Tips and Tricks."
"Ashleigh." Mercedes muttered, putting the magazine on the table and clearing her throat. "Can I ask you something, um... it's a little personal."
"Yeah. Uh, sure, of course you can. What's up?"
"What was your first time like?" Mercedes asked.
"Oh, are you and... and Sam thinking of..."
"I mean, was... was it like a big deal? Was there, like, a hotel and flowers? 'Cause I feel like I'm a little too old for that. You know, it's not gonna be romantic as if I were back in high school, and I don't need a big moment or anything, but as silly as it sounds, I do want it to be special. No, I know I want at least that." Mercedes says.
"Well, my first time wasn't romantic or anything special... I actually lost my virginity in the school bathrooms. Maybe I'm not the right person to ask."
Mercedes chuckled.
"Blaine was a virgin, right? Did you at least make it special for him?" Asked Mercedes.
"Well, his first time, uh, it was just at his house. And, um, it was special because, as you know, it was Blaine, and I loved him and he loved me. And it was the first time I actually connected with someone."

"I just... I don't know if I'm ready for this." Mercedes said.
"Look, I don't think anybody can ever really know how or if they're ever gonna be ready. I think in the moment when you're with that person, you feel like you want to remember being with them forever, and everything will fall into place."
"Kind of wish it was both of our first times." Mercedes tells her.
"Oops, sorry. Sorry."
"Not your fault, babe. I just don't know if I'm gonna be any good at it." Said Mercedes.
"Oh, don't think like that. Sam is a really good guy, and he's sweet. Trust me. And if you feel like it's right, then he will make you feel like you're the only one."
"Okay." Mercedes muttered, nodding her head.
The next morning, Blaine dropped his bag on the floor and walked over, standing beside Kurt...
"Okay, today is stage weaponry, and yes, this is a real bo staff. And no, you will not be using real blades yet. Not until you can be trusted. Remember safety first, safety last..."
"Safety always." They all say.
"That's right."
"You're still mad about the website thing, aren't you?" Kurt asked, whispering lowly.
