I tapped my hand against the dining room table. I've been waiting for my breakfast for more than 5 minutes with Aida sitting to my right.

-Serena..

I looked at her. This little girl was actually over 13 years old but she could easily be mistaken for an 8 year old girl.
Light blonde hair with bangs framing her innocent doll face. The same pink pearls for eyes as Serena, she looked a lot like her in fact.

It's hard to believe it's his niece, you might think it's his little sister.
I soften my voice as I address her.

-Yes Aida?
-What's wrong ? You've never been so violent before.
-I guess I couldn't take it anymore.

It really was. Serena simply couldn't take it anymore.

-Aida

I took these hands

-Don't worry, soon everything will be better. I have a plan and you will be living well in no time

She looked at me with hope

-Really ? But how.. ?
-You trust me ?
-Yes of course.. you are the only one I trust.
-Then let me do it. You will have to endure a little more but everything will be fine soon.

The door opened suddenly. The housekeeper came to put down a breakfast that had obviously been made in a hurry.
His cheek was red and his gaze was still contemptuous. And I was planning to leave her.

She placed our dishes in front of us and wanted to leave.

-Stop .

She froze. I opened Aida's plate as if for myself to find that it was moldy bread and a soup that was starting to smell.

I laugh .

-In addition to being late, are you bringing us these horrors?

She looked at me with distrust

-You asked me for a dish in 5 minutes and more! There was nothing else!
-Your job is to take care of us. You're doing it wrong and what's more, you're being insolent.

I grabbed him by the collar before pushing his face into the soup. She fidgeted but I left her head in.

-Aida close your eyes and cover your ears.

She didn't need to be asked.

I grabbed the governess by the hair and brought her to her knees. She coughed and breathed heavily

-And now you're dirtying me. Our meal was supposed to have been ready a long time ago and even served. It wasn't our place to look for him and even less to tell you to bring him back. Do you want to challenge me? Let's go

I grabbed the soup and forced her to open her mouth. She seemed to want to break free from my grip and could have. Serena is really weak, but I know my look was deterring her.

Serena's beautiful pink eyes gave way to my red ones. This color that made this idiot tremble so much.

I forced her to drink the soup and wanted to protest by not swallowing except that I then made her choke. She ends up drinking the whole bowl before I take the other bowl and force her to drink.

Once finished, she was breathing and crying on all fours.

-I hope for your sake that our rooms are cleaned

I looked through the half-open door where the other maids were looking at me in fear.
They ran at full speed.

I turned to Aida who still had her eyes closed and her hands on her ears. I put my hand on her head and she looked at me, removing her hands. I smile at her

-It's good . Let's go out to eat today.

I took his hand and left the dining room to go outside. I walked towards the gate until a guard stopped me.

-Miss Serena.. you can't go out..

My eyes turned red

-You have 2 minutes to open the door
-I...I really can't...

I grabbed him by the collar

-1 minute and 43 seconds.

His eyes seemed to want to roll back. I saw the gate keys at his hip and took them.
I opened the door while he didn't dare make a move and went out.

-But Serena, it's not dangerous to go out.
-Do not worry . We'll eat well and go home.

She seemed worried and smiled at her before giving her a hug. She handed it back to me, smiling nervously.

Poor little thing. We headed to a restaurant and I ordered a simple dish for both of us. I already noticed the looks we were being given.

Our clothes were rather luxurious for this place but I didn't do anything about it.
I encouraged Aida to eat and under my warm smiles she let herself go. She had to, she was dying of hunger.

-But Serena, what's happening to you today? Looks like another person
-Maybe that's the case? I can't stand this life anymore. Whether it's for you...or for me. You'll still notice some things different about me but don't worry.

I stroked her head.

-Your Serena, will remain your Serena.

-Your Serena, will remain your Serena
