Wukong stared at his son in disbelief, as Tao loomed over him motionless and emotionless, it was as if he was looking at a statue of his once kind and happy-go-lucky son.

"Tao." Wukong reached out to him. "Is that you? What happened to--"

Tao grabbed Wukong's wrist and swiftly threw him at the temple. Wukong went through several temple walls before crashing to a stop. Wukong lay on top of a pile of rubble that he carried with him through the walls, groaning as he began to pick himself up for the second time.

"Yep, that's my kid." Wukong groaned. "I'm also starting to remember why I let him join baseball."

As Wukong sat up, rubbing the back of his head when he heard the sound of slow clapping. Lady Thorn Rose was calmly walking towards him as she continued to clap.

"I must say, you know how to put on a show." She looked amused.

"What did you do to my son!?" Wukong snarled.

"Didn't I tell you before Sun Wukong?" Lady Thorn Rose smirked. "I stayed true to my word when I said I would use the child against you."

"You witch," Wukong growled. "You'll pay for this."

"Well, if you want to get to me." She sounded smug as Tao jumped in front of her as if he had become her personal guard. "You'll have to get through him."

Outside the temple, the rest of the group began to fight off the growing hoard of demons. Daiyu had been tucked away from the fight, hiding behind a large stone with Mo as a form of comfort. Daiyu peeked over the rock, quickly ducking back behind if she felt she was going to be noticed. Mo was the first to notice the shadow starting to loom over them and began to violently hiss at the source of the shadow.

"Mo?" Daiyu looked to see the older cat with his hair up. "What is it?"

Daiyu looked up and let out a gasp.

"DAD!" Macaque whipped his head at the sound of his daughter's yell.

He rushed to the rocks to find she was gone, and Mo trapped in a rope net. Macaque's worry about his daughter disappearing quickly turned to rage, he knew exactly what happened to her.

Daiyu was trying to pull her wrist free from Messenger's grasp as they dragged her through Lady Thorn Rose's temple.

"Let go of me!" Daiyu cried out as she continued to pull her wrist away. "You won't get away with--"

"Shut up!" Messenger snarled out as they pulled Daiyu closer. "I'm sick of you, and the rest of the little "family" of yours. Especially, your father! When I'm done with you, I'm--"

Macaque came from the side, kicking them into the wall. Messenger fell to the floor with a thud.

"Are you hurt?" Macaque let out a sigh of relief to Daiyu shaking her head.

Macaque pulled his daughter into a hug.

"You always ruin everything!" Messenger slammed their fist against the floor.

When Messenger picked themselves up, the hood covering their face, fell.

"You!" Macaque growled.

Wukong was thrown into a wall by Tao, if Wukong could find a way to get past Tao he could deal with Lady Thorn Rose, but every attempt to get passed him resulted in him getting pushed, thrown, or even kicked back.

"Face it, Sun Wukong," she smirked, "the only way to get to me, is to win a fight against your son."

"If you think I'll raise a hand to him, you're mistaken." Wukong glared at her. "Under your control or not, he's still my son."

Wukong launched himself in her direction again, and it happened again, Tao launched at him, slamming his fist into his father's stomach, sending Wukong through another wall. This time when he hit the ground, the Wukong doll fell out of his robes.

Messenger's secret identity was Chun. She began to pick herself up off the floor, with Macaque's glare never leaving.

"I should have known." Macaque scoffed. "Only you would be dumb enough to pull a petty stunt like this after all these years."

"You ruined my life!" Chun spat out at him. "If you and the rest of your vile group had stayed out my way, I would have had the happily ending I deserved!"

"Considering what you did, I would say you got off easy!" Macaque retorted. "You'll be in the same situation as your father, wants they find out about this."

"No," Chun's voice got low, as she pulled the sickle from her robe, "I'll make sure you won't get to tell the tale. I'm going to--"

Chyou had hit Chun from behind with a bian, knocking her unconscious and looking unamused as she silently watch her sister fall to the floor.

"She's a lot more annoying than I remember." Chyou looked down at her sister. "Are you ready to go."

"I love you so much." Macaque lightly chuckled.

Wukong was backed into a corner as Tao slowly began to approach him. He was running out of ideas to get out of this situation without hurting Tao. His thoughts were put on hold when Tao quickly and suddenly grabbed Wukong's neck. Wukong looked at his son in fear as Tao raised his fist to him.

"If this is how it ends," Wukong shut his eyes, "then so be it."

Tao's eyes shifted to the doll laying on the floor. Starring at its button eyes and stitched smile brought back something. Flashes of various memories with MK, Daiyu and the other, and most important Wukong.

Wukong opened his eyes to see the silver in his eyes turning back to gold and the crystal's glow fading and falling out of the crown.

"Dad..." Was the only thing Tao could get out before collapsing into Wukong's arms.

"I got you Buddy," Wukong whispered to him.

Wukong gently placed Tao down before turning his attention to Lady Thorn Rose, who seemed less confident than before.

"H-How?" Lady Thorn Rose's voice claimed she was enraged, but her body language showed fear. "He was supposed to kill you!"

Wukong noticed that they crystal in the crown landed by his feet. He picked it up before preparing his stance to charge at her.

"Looks like a mother doesn't always know best." Wukong retorted.

Back on the ship, Chenguang and Chyou were bandaging up those who had gotten injured, while Sandy tied up Chun as Mo continued to hiss at her. Everything came to a stop when a loud explosion-like sounds resulting in everything shaking for a few moments.

It was quiet for a few moments after, then a door slowly opened to reveal Wukong holding Tao who was still unconscious.

"It's over." Wukong said with a sigh of relief.
