Olivia Baker

Today is a big day. There's a new student that is transferring from Crenshaw and I am so excited. I walk into first period and see him sitting at the seat infront of me. I walk over and sit down and wait for the lesson to start. I look over  and think that I should introduce myself before the lesson starts.

"HI I'm Olivia... Olivia Baker" I say with my hand out. "HI I'm Spencer... Spencer James" he says shaking my hand "it's nice to meet you" he says with a big smile on his face. "Nice to meet you too" I say as Mrs. Lynn starts the lesson.

"Okay class settle down... Today we are going to focus on chromosome DNA" Mrs. Lynn said. "so that means take out your chromebooks and get started with the assignment... it's due next week" Mrs. Lynn added

Spencer raised his hand and said he didn't have a chromebook so Mrs. Lynn said he had to share with someone. spencer looked at the person next to him but he had  said no.

"You can share with me" I say and he walks over and sits next to me. "Just know I'm not good at this stuff so just a warning" I said. "I might be able to help with that" Spencer said as he chuckle

"By the way you guys will be doing this in partners so while your at it pick one" Mrs. Lynn said and I looked at spencer and spencer look at me "wanna be my partner?" We both say in a unison as we both chuckle

After School

"So you played football at your old school?" I asked curiously. "Yep, football is the only reason I transferred here" Spencer said and I raised an eyebrow with a shocked face. "What do you do?" Spencer asked me "I am cheer captain" I say and spencer mocked me with a shocked face and we both laugh.

"But today I'm suppose to meet someone named 'Billy Baker'" Spencer said "You know he's my dad right?" I said with a chuckle. "That's why the name sounded familiar" he says as he looks at me and we both bust out laughing. "Well I gotta go see you tomorrow?" I say and he nods his head 'yes'.

Spencer James

As I walk up to the door of the head coach I talk a long and deep breath. I think I already know what we are going to talk about so I brace myself. I knock and he tells me to have a seat. Here goes nothing

"Spencer take a seat!" He says happily. I take a seat and he starts talking "you may be wondering why you are here but I promise you it's a good reason" he says. "What is it... am I in trouble?" I say now getting worried. "No no no... you are far from in trouble... I think this is actually good news" he says with a big smile on his face. "I'm listening" I say now curious "I want you to play for me this school year" he says.

"You want me to play for you?" I say not fully understanding. "Yes that's what I said" he said. "Okay" I say agreeing with him " Okay? That's it?" He says shocked " This is what you want right so imma do it... plus I LOVE football" i say trying to hide my smile. "Okay.... okay that was easy" he says as I stand up and we dab each other up.

"But one problem" I say hoping he won't reconsider this opportunity. "What is it?" He says with a worried face " I live like 30 minutes - 1 hour away from here so..." i say figiting with my fingers. "Oh that could be handled.... hey I might have an idea" he says looking like he worried still. "Tell me already" I say waiting for what he is going to say.

"Why don't you come live with me?" He says as I look up at him like he's crazy " you don't even know me and you want me in your house?.... you don't know what type of stuff I am capable of" I say.      "You can't be that bad.... plus it will be great if we had a new person in our house-" he says but I cut him of "fine ill do it and I already know your daughter" I say as he raises and eyebrow

"So you say" he says and I nod my head 'yes'. "But do you know my son?" He says as I don't say anthing "he is the quarterback of the football team" he said. "Oh who is the oldest?" I asked "Olivia but their twins" he says.

"Do you have  any more kids" I asked curiously but he shakes his head 'no' " you will have to meet my son soon and you could get some tips too" he said as I nod my head and tell him I have to ask my mom about all of this.
