Olivia winced, trying to hold back tears. "I think I broke my ankle," she managed to say through gritted teeth.

Mrs. Maddi quickly called for medical assistance, and Olivia was rushed to the hospital, accompanied by Mrs. Baker, who had been watching the game from the stands. Unbeknownst to them, Billy's phone was off, and he was entirely focused on the game, unaware of what had happened to his daughter.

The game continued, with Spencer and Jordan unaware of the incident. They played their hearts out, ultimately leading their team to a thrilling victory. As they celebrated on the field, their smiles turned to concern when they were informed of Olivia's accident.

Rushing to the hospital, Spencer and Jordan found Mrs. Baker in the waiting room, her face etched with worry. "What happened?" Spencer asked, his voice filled with anxiety.

"Olivia had an accident during the game. She broke her ankle," Mrs. Baker explained, her eyes red from crying. "She's in the emergency room now."

Spencer and Jordan exchanged a worried glance before heading to Olivia's room. When they entered, they found her lying in a hospital bed, her ankle in a cast. Despite the pain, she managed a weak smile when she saw them.

"Hey, guys," she said softly.

Spencer rushed to her side, taking her hand in his. "Liv, I'm so sorry. We didn't know."

"It's okay," Olivia replied, her voice shaky. "I know you were focused on the game. How did it go?"

"We won," Jordan said, his voice filled with pride and concern. "But that doesn't matter right now. How are you feeling?"

"I'm in a lot of pain, but I'll be okay," Olivia reassured them. "I'm just glad you're here."

A few hours later, Layla, Kia, and Amanda arrived at the hospital with flowers and gifts. While Layla and Kia showered Olivia with concern and affection, Amanda's attitude remained cold and distant. Olivia, Layla, and Kia all noticed Amanda's behavior but chose to remain silent, not wanting to create further tension.

As the night wore on, Olivia's room was filled with laughter and stories, easing the pain of her injury. Despite the unexpected turn of events, the bonds of friendship and family held strong, providing comfort and support in a time of need.
