BTW (I am now scheduling my chapters so i don't have to worry about posting them late)
As the days turned into weeks, Spencer and Olivia's bond grew stronger with each passing day, but the shadow of tension and jealousy lingered in the background, threatening to disrupt their newfound happiness.
Jordan, Olivia's twin brother and star football player, had always been protective of his sister. But as he watched her relationship with Spencer blossom, he couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy. Spencer's presence seemed to overshadow his own, and Jordan couldn't shake the feeling of being second best.
Simone, Jordan's girlfriend, noticed his growing unease and tried to reassure him. "Jordan, you know Olivia and Spencer are just friends, right?" she said, running her fingers through his hair. "There's nothing to be jealous about."
But Jordan couldn't shake the feeling of insecurity that gnawed at him. He watched as Spencer and Olivia shared inside jokes and exchanged knowing glances, and it only fueled his jealousy further.
Meanwhile, Spencer was navigating his own feelings of jealousy, albeit for different reasons. He couldn't help but feel a pang of envy whenever he saw Jordan and Simone together, their relationship seemingly effortless and full of passion. He wondered if he and Olivia would ever reach that level of intimacy and understanding.
Olivia, sensing the tension between Spencer and Jordan, tried to diffuse the situation. She spent more time with Jordan, trying to reassure him of their bond as siblings. But her efforts seemed to only exacerbate the problem, as Jordan became more distant and withdrawn.
One evening, as the group gathered for a barbecue at the Baker's house, the tension between Spencer and Jordan finally came to a head. Jordan, fueled by jealousy and insecurity, confronted Spencer in a fit of anger.
"What's your deal, man?" Jordan demanded, his voice laced with hostility. "You think you're better than me or something?"
Spencer, taken aback by Jordan's sudden outburst, tried to remain calm. "I don't think I'm better than anyone, Jordan," he replied, his tone measured. "I care about Olivia, and I respect her. That's all."
But Jordan wasn't satisfied with his answer. "You're just trying to steal her away from me," he accused, his fists clenched at his sides.
Simone, sensing the escalating tension, stepped in to diffuse the situation. "Jordan, that's enough," she said firmly, placing a hand on his arm. "Spencer is not trying to steal Olivia away from you. They're just friends." Letting it go for a little bit, Jordan enjoyed the rest of his time trying to take his mind off of his jealousy.
As the evening unfolded at the Baker household, the tension between Spencer and Jordan simmered beneath the surface, threatening to boil over at any moment. Olivia, caught in the middle of their rivalry, struggled to navigate the storm brewing between her best friend and her twin brother.
Meanwhile, Mrs. and Mr. Baker had just returned from their business trip, greeted by the familiar sight of their children and their friends gathered in the living room. Sensing the tension in the air, Mrs. Baker exchanged a worried glance with her husband, silently questioning what had transpired during their absence.
"Hey, Liv, it's good to see you," Mr. Baker greeted his daughter with a warm smile, wrapping her in a hug. "What have you been up to while we were away?"
Olivia hesitated, her mind racing as she scrambled to come up with a plausible excuse. She couldn't tell her parents about the trip to the Bahamas—she was still grounded and wasn't supposed to leave the house, let alone travel to another country.
"I, uh, I've been spending time with my sponsor," Olivia lied, her heart pounding in her chest. "Working on my recovery and stuff."
Mrs. Baker raised an eyebrow, her expression unreadable. "Your sponsor, huh? That's good to hear," she said, exchanging a knowing glance with her husband. "We'll talk more about it later."
As Olivia breathed a sigh of relief, the tension in the room seemed to escalate. Jordan and Spencer, both vying for Olivia's attention, found themselves locked in a silent battle of wills, their emotions bubbling just beneath the surface.
Before long, their simmering rivalry erupted into a full-blown confrontation. Voices rose, accusations flew, and Olivia found herself torn between her loyalty to her best friend and her bond with her twin brother.
"Can y'all stop fighting? Please?" Olivia pleaded, her voice tinged with frustration and disappointment. "And if y'all love me at all, you'll talk this out."
Spencer, realizing the gravity of the situation, stepped forward to confront Jordan, his expression resolute. "You're better than this, Jordan," she said firmly, with spencers  eyes locking with his teammate's. "We're family, man. We can't let this tear us apart."
Jordan, taken aback by Spencer's sincerity, felt a pang of guilt wash over him. "I'm sorry, Spence," he said, his voice tinged with remorse. "I let my jealousy get the best of me. I shouldn't have taken it out on you."
Spencer nodded, his gaze softening. "Apology accepted, bro," he replied, extending a hand to Jordan.
Upstairs, Mrs. and Mr. Baker exchanged a knowing smile, reassured by the sound of their children's laughter drifting up from the living room below. Despite the challenges they faced, they knew that as long as they had each other, they could weather any storm that came their way.
After a particularly intense game of air hockey between Olivia and Spencer, they decided to take a break and grab some snacks. As they sat at the island, eating nachos and sipping on sodas, Olivia felt the moment was right to express her feelings.
"Spencer, I have something I want to tell you," Olivia began, her heart pounding with nervousness.
Spencer looked at her, his eyes filled with curiosity. "What is it, Liv?"
Taking a deep breath, Olivia continued, "I... I've been feeling something more than just friendship for you. I've been trying to ignore it, but I can't anymore. I think I'm in love with you, Spencer. Scratch that, I know i'm in love with you. I've known since the first day you came to beverly."
Spencer's eyes widened in surprise, but a smile slowly spread across his face. "Liv, I've been feeling the same way, I don't know when it happened, or if it was there the whole time but.." he paused, reaching out to take her hand. "I love you too."
Their friends, who had been watching from a distance, erupted into cheers and applause, happy to see their friends finally admit their feelings for each other. Coop, always the comedian, shouted, "It's about time, you two! We were starting to think you'd never figure it out!"
Laughing, Olivia and Spencer joined their friends, the weight of their unspoken feelings lifted, replaced by a sense of joy and relief.
As the day drew to a close, Olivia and Spencer found themselves sitting together on a sofa outside her house, watching the sun set in the distance. Olivia rested her head on Spencer's shoulder, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her.
"I'm so glad we finally talked about our feelings," Olivia said, breaking the comfortable silence between them.
"Me too, Liv," Spencer replied, squeezing her hand. "I can't wait to see where this journey takes us."
With their hearts full of love and excitement for the future, Olivia and Spencer knew that their arcade adventure was just the beginning of their incredible journey together.
