 Deku POV-

"so your telling me...that they are experimenting on Fucking children down there?"

said Kaminari. He was holding hands with Shinso, his eyes were wide and he looked furious. I sat behind my desk in the large office and Kachan stood behind me, one hand on my shoulder, looking at the ground. everyone in the mob was gathered around the vast room and staring at me, horrified at what I had just told them. I had my head in my hands. I sighed and looked up at them, nodding.

"they have about seventeen of them, all dead, all labeled Nomu Experiential's. This is a new kind of threat. Has anyone ever heard of anything called Nomu?"

I looked to Todoroki. His brother, Dabi, was our spy in the League. Todo shook his head and looked down at his feet, futzing with the lining of his hoodie.

"If he knows he hasn't told me."

I sighed and looked back to the Majority. everyone else shook their heads and Kachan squeezed my shoulder. he gestured towards mina and I shook my head. He gave me a look that said I had to tell her. I really didn't want to. I gulped and turned towards the pink haired girl. I gestured for her to sit in one of the seats across the table from me. she did and Kiri followed, placing his hands on her shoulders. I took a deep breath.

"Mina...there is something I need to tell you."

I took in a long breath and looked at the celling. why did the gods hate us so much. Poor Mina had already been through enough and was just starting to heal. I looked back to her and she looked scared.

"One of the kids...he...Mina...They have Aijin's body in there."

her eyes widened and her mouth dropped open. she stood up from her chair and shook her head, covering her mouth with her hands, tears falling down her face. she Tried to back up but ran directly into Kirishima. she turned towards him and he pulled her into a hug. she shook her head and muttered

"no. it isn't true. no."

over and over into his chest. I stood from my chair behind the mahogany desk and walked around it to where Kirishima was holding a shaking Mina in his arms. I saw that everyone was shook by the revelation. Momo was covering her mouth and Jiro had and arm around the tall girls waist. Kaminari was gritting his teeth. Tsu had small tears in the corners of her eyes and Ochako was hugging her tightly. Todoroki was conversing with Ilda in hushed tones, but I could tell they were angry. 

I walked over to Mina and Set a gentle hand on her shoulder, providing what reassurance I could. I looked into Kirishima's eyes and saw red hot fury glinting behind the huge amount of concern. I looked at him and nodded. He nodded back and Picked up Mina gently, cradling her in his arms as he walked back to the elevator that would take them back to their room.

The moment the Elevator closed there was an uproar and I winced, covering my ears. I had been sensitive to sound for as long as I could remember. I walked back to the desk with my hands covering my ears. Everyone was yelling or speaking loudly, angry about the morbidity of the situation we were in. Kachan took one look at me and turned to the group of squabbling Teens. 

"Hey! Shut the Fuck up and listen!"

Everyone Quieted down as I smiled at Kachan. he motioned towards the group. I looked at them and Took a deep breath.

"I agree with all of you, and believe me, I am just as mad. something needs to be done about this but if we go in without a game plan we will only cause more damage as well as maybe get civilians involved. we need to think this through but I can promise you we are going to do something. this will not stand, I just need you to give me a moment to think of a plan. Give me one day. we will meet in here tomorrow and discuss what the hell we are going to do. until then please, Help Mina through this, it is harder on her than any of us. Meeting dismissed."

they all filed out of the office as I circled the desk and sat down at the table. Kachan came over to me and sat on the corner of the desk as I pulled out the blueprints of the warehouse that I had been carrying around with me since I saw those kids. I may have appeared calm on the outside, but on the inside I was screaming, seething for those kids.

there was something more going on here and I Intended to figure out exactly what It was.

"Izuku."

I looked up and met Kachan's ruby red eyes. they were just as angry as mine, but also worried which was a look he didn't wear often. I raised my eyebrow, encouraging him to speak. he sighed and Took my hand which was reaching for a pencil and notebook.

"I know that you want to find a solution to all of this shit, but don't wear yourself out. A Mafia is useless without It's leader, and without it's heart."

I held his gaze for a second before breaking it and turning back to the desk. I pulled my hand away, remembering my vow. Don't get close to anyone so that they don't become a target. I nodded and Went back to my work.

"I will be fine."

he sighed and Stood, giving my shoulder a good squeeze before walking slowly out of the large office. I Dove into my work, writing everything I knew about the Lab and every possible plan 
I could think of to figure out what they were doing and stop it, but without a Idea of what Nomu even were it was a little hard to come up with a game plan. 

Kachan dropped by multiple times with food or even just to try and get me to take a break. he sent Todoroki and Ochako too but none of them ever had any luck. I was glued to my desk and I wasn't leaving until I figured out how to get vengeance for What they were putting my team through. all they ever got from me was the question of how everyone was doing. by everyone they knew I mainly meant Mina. I heard that the Team was taking my instructions to heart and with their help she was doing a bit better. I was happy to hear that at least. 

The last time Kachan came in was around eight PM. he asked me if I was going to come and sleep tonight and I answered him truthfully. Probably not. he didn't try to talk me out of the all nighter because he knew it would do absolutely nothing. My resolve was to strong to stop. 

when I finally looked at the clock it was around eleven PM and I still hadn't found an answer for my team. I swore and pushed myself back in my chair, staring at the celling. I sensed it before I heard it. someone was watching me. I remained still other than my hand reaching for the gun always tucked into my waist band. 

A slight flap of wings, then all hell broke loose. the window of the office shattered and a powerful gust of air blew me off the chair and into the opposite wall. I flipped and landed on my feet, gun drawn. I glared at the window just in time to see a small creature crawl through the opening.

it had purple skin, and its eyes were replaced by glowing slits. It had eight legs, like a spider and the top of its head was gone revealing just the exposed brain. It smiled an evil grin and started to skitter towards me.
