Deku Pov-

I crept out onto the roof of the extensive mountain top mansion that the League was using to keep the kid. I had already done extensive research on the place, and managed to hack the blueprints and the security footage. I am no hacker, that is Tokoyami's job, but I can still do it when I need a little bit of technical knowledge.

from what I has seen only one person other than the doctors in they day ever visited this place, and he stayed the night with the little girl most nights, then snuck out around three am. I knew that he was a member of the league, And close with Dabi but not much else. he had bright red wings and always tried to make the girl laugh. I had a strange feeling that he wasn't going to have a problem with me getting her out. 

I crept to the window that lead out into the hall right outside the room that they kept Eri chained in when they didn't need her. It was around ten thirty at night, so all the doctors were gone, the mystery bird would be there but I could probably take him out if I have to. I took a deep breath before ramming my elbow into the pane of glass. It shattered and a Earth shattering screech filled the corridor. Alarm, probably activated my motion. that why big bird always entered directly into the kids bedroom window. I jumped down from the windowsill and winced as I lost my balance, the ear shattering noise throwing me off guard. I pulled on a set of headphones that I always kept around my neck and then pulled out my hand gun from my belt, holding it at the ready.

I had calculated the possibility of a alarm, and by the fact that the mansion was on the top of a mountain, and that all the security and medical personnel thought that this was too good of a secret to stay over night, I had about an hour before anyone else showed up.

I rushed down the hall and found the door labeled Test Alpha 403. the code that they used to Eri. The door was locked but that was no issue. I took out the earring I was wearing and dangling off of it was a small set of lock picks. a present from mina on my last birthday, well, the last one I celebrated. her harsh words echoed in my brain and I shook them away. don't think about mina now.

I picked the lock in about a half second and Pushed open the door, I stumbled into the room, pointing my gun ahead of me and glancing around the room. it was mostly bare except for one small poster of a cat that said 'hang in there'. really? what a depressing thing to give a child.

In the corner of the room there was a Man, he had red wings with short blonde hair and narrow eyes, black markings near the corners, just like the security photo's and He was bearing his teeth at me, his hands holding a small pistol with the trigger cocked. his wings were wrapped protectively around a small girl with long blue hair and silver eyes who was hiding behind him. a little horn popped out of her forehead and her arms and legs were wrapped in bandages under the thin blue hospital gown she was wearing, I could see faint red stains in under the bandages and I wanted to punch something. this little angel was what? six? and she was being used as a blood manufacturing plant. she was holding onto the man's left wing and shaking like a leaf, terrified, her hands berried into his feathers. I took a step forward and she whimpered.

I hated that about being a Mafia boss, we always scarred the kids, and I love kids, I had always fantasized about having children of my own, but seeing as I'm one of the most wanted men in the city, that wasn't going to happen.

I lowered my gun and looked at the pair. the man tightened his grip on the pistol and I raised my hands in surrender, dropping my gun to the ground with a loud clack on the concrete floor.

"Whoa, woah, calm down there big bird...I'm not here to hurt either of you. I came here to get her out of this torture chamber."

I said and he narrowed his eyes suspiciously. Eri looked out from behind his wings and her eyes caught on mine. I looked at her and smiled softly. her eyes widened and she came out from behind the man's wings a little. she smiled back tentatively, her horn emitting a soft yellow glow. she petted the man's wing. he jumped and looked at her, raising his eyebrow.

"Its okay Hawk. He is telling the truth. his heart is pure and he has a power asleep inside him. a power to see other people in their true forms."

she said softly. He looked back at me and pulled his gun back into his belt and looked at me, a glimmer of hope in his eyes as he pulled the little girl in front of him, but he was still protective of her, his heart was inn the right place and I could see that he clearly didn't like how her arms were wrapped in bandages either. he was an ally in this mission. I knelt down to the littles girl's level and looked her in the eyes, smiling gently.

"Hello little Angel, I am Izuku. I'm here to bring you home."

she looked up at the man she had called hawk and he looked back down at her. I stood and looked at the man. his eyes widened when he saw my face and he smiled. I offered my hand to him and he took hit, shaking it firmly.

"So they sent the big dog huh? My name is Kiego Takami, but everyone calls me Hawks, my alias. I knew that you had found out about Eri, but I didn't think you would come yourself."

I smiled and released his hand, I looked down to the little girl who looked like she was fascinated by me. I smiled down at her.

"I assume you know who I am, but I will introduce myself anyway. My name is Izuku Myidoria, leader of the 1A Mafia. This mission was my top priority once I found out about her, I wouldn't have sent anyone else."

she smiled and I knelt down next to her again. she walked over to me and Placed a small hand on my cheek, examining my face and her horn glowed brighter than ever, almost blinding. I felt a pang in my chest and I felt the instant connection. I was meant to find this girl. She giggled and petted my messy green curls. I smiled and chuckled a little.

"Your hair is an odd color!"

she said, laughing and running her hands through my thick hair. I saw hawks smile out of the corner of my eye and I smirked. Once Eri stopped playing with my hair I smiled and placed a hand on her head. she flinched at the touch at first, but then leaned into it.

"Eri. I came to take you somewhere that no one will ever hurt you again, but we have to go now if we want to get there. are you ready?"

Her smile faded and she looked back at the man. I looked at him as well and she shrugged, zipping his lips with a hand and throwing the imaginary key to The child. he smiled and she ran over to him, hugging his waist. he picked her up and wrapped his arms around her, his wings also joining the embrace. 

"Don't worry princess, your secret is safe with me. I will see you again, I promise."

he set her down and she walked over to me. I picked her up gently and moved to the window of her room. It lead out onto the roof and I could get to my zip line from there. hawks broke the window with his fist and motioned for us to go. he followed us out and hovered over the creaky shingles, flapping his wings steadily. hands in his pockets.

I strapped myself into the harness on the zip line and Eri wrapped her arms around me neck holding on tight, but before I slid off the roof, hawks set a hand on my shoulder and gave me a serious look.

"Izuku Myidoria, please...give her the life she deserves, because heaven knows its not this. I will cover your tracks and pretend that Nothing happened. I'm  trusting you."

I nodded and wrapped my arms tighter around Eri, making sure I had a good grip on her before I hopped gently off the roof and slid down the thin meatal wire to where a car was waiting for us. I took one glance back to see hawks watching us. he gave a a solute and I smiled and swore to myself that I would fulfill his wish.

I felt a small tear drop onto my hoodie once we reached the ground next to the sleek black Tessla which was already running silently. automatic start is a miracle of modern science. I knelt to the ground, setting Eri down but she stayed close to me, not wanting to let go. I kissed her on the top of her wavy blue hair and pulled her into a reassuring hug.

"Don't worry little angel, your safe now."
