Clara's POV

"So, where shall we go now?" I asked the Doctor.

It was Melody who answered. "Nowhere."

We both looked at her. "Wwwwwhhhyyyy?" the Doctor asked.

"We have the virus. Have you forgotten? We don't know how contagious it is, or even what it is. I have a concussion, and this virus makes it worse. If we're going anywhere, it's Thorn. I'm willing to bet they might have a cure," Melody explained. She winced and put a hand on her forehead.

The Doctor looked at her. "And you don't know this?"

Melody shook her head and winced again. "I don't know everything about being a Healer. I only know a fraction of the information there is to know."

"So Thorn it is!" the Doctor turned to the console.

Jasmine's POV

I swear to God it didn't seem like any time at all had past before I heard that infernal screeching noise.

Welcome back, Doctor. So help me if Melody's changed yet again, because I will murder you in the most painful way possible.

Just saying.

I ran to the window of the mansion I spent my time in to see the TARDIS arrive. I sighed and went downstairs to open the front door.

"You have got to be kidding me," I said as I let the Doctor, Melody, and this new girl in. "Why are you here, Time Lord?"

"You know his name's the Doctor, right?" the girl asked.

"You are...?"

"His companion," the girl said.

"Jasmine, this is Clara. Clara, this is my half sister, Jasmine," Melody said quickly.

"Hello," the girl-Clara-said nervously. I stared at her for a few moments, then said, "I know what his name is; however, he is a Time Lord, and Time Lords don't get that kind of respect."

"Thank you," the Doctor said.

"That wasn't a compliment," I snapped.

"Um, Jasmine, we're actually here because of an issue," Melody said.

"Well, I'll help you. Not your idiot of a father."

"Oi!" the Doctor protested. "You know, if your queen tolerates me, why can't you?"

"Because you ran off and got my mum pregnant," I told him. "Speaking of the queen, guess who's in the living room?"

"You should talk to her," Melody said. "I heard she needs a king."

"Just-oh, be quiet," the Doctor snapped, though I noticed his face turned a little pink.

"I think we're here because we've got most deadliest disease to mankind, not so that we can...talk," Clara said. We all looked at her, and she shrugged. "I'm just saying."

"What do you mean, you've got the most deadliest disease to mankind?" I asked.

"Well, we went to this place, it was a quarantine, but this girl, she's on the loose, she had released the disease to everyone in it," the Doctor explained.

"You're too loud," Melody grumbled.

"And gave Melody a concussion," the Doctor added.

"I can't help you with that," I said, turning away. This time, Clara spoke up. "I heard things from the Doctor and Melody. That you're willing to help anyone who isn't an enemy. Well, I'm human. I believe I'm one of the very few humans who know you exist, which means you can't really be enemies. And don't you help them all the time, just in disguise?"
