how they were before...

P.T.

,,Are you fucking kidding me..." I whispered under my breath, while I ducked down under the table to pick up the paper ball someone just threw at me from behind.

I didn't have to turn around to know who it was, neither did I care. Today, Riddle could put his teasing up his fucking ass. I really didn't care anymore.

Quickly, I picked up my wand and whispered a quiet spell on the piece of trash. Without even really looking in his direction I threw the paper ball back and it landed on his desk.

Not a second later, I heard a surprised scream behind me and looked down on my essay grinning, while the hole class looked up and behind me.

On the inside, I thanked Professor Flitwick for teaching me this spell, which made things burning hot for just a few moments. Riddle was most likely to have some burn wounds on his hands now.

Well, it was his own fault. I was absolutely not having his shit today. Professor Snape looked up too, a rather unbothered look on his face as he gave Riddle a warning look.

,,Mr Riddle... Is there any excuse for you to interrupt my class?" he asked with a silent, stiff voice.

Now I did look back, my gaze meeting Riddles angry one immediately. I smirked at him. Yeah Riddle, what's your excuse?

,,I'm... I'm sorry, Professor." he spoke, not taking his glare of me. He looked furious. I winked at him and turned back around, the smirk fading off my face just in time before Snape could see it.

,,Well, that is certainly not enough. Five points from Slytherin." Snape replied.

I raised an eyebrow in surprise, and also heard some whispers from the rest of the class. Professor Snape was usually not likely to take points from his own house this easily. He must have had a really bad day today...

Quickly, I concentrated back on my writing, as I absolutely did not want to get in trouble too. I could literally feel Riddles eyes burning holes in the back of my robe, and did everything I could not to laugh.

He should have known... It wasn't my first time using this spell. Actually, I used it on a regular basis, including my backfires on him. It surprised me, that he was still stupid enough to pick up things I threw back at him.

After the class finally ended, I packed up my things and put my finished essay on Snapes desk. The Professor looked up at me, a slight sign of surprise on his face.

,,Already done, Ms Thorne?" he asked with suspicion.

I nodded. ,,Yes, Professor. All done. Have a great day..." With that and a little cheeky grin I turned around to leave the classroom.

Riddles desk was right next to the door, and I held on in the middle of my steps next to it. With raised eyebrows I looked down at his extended leg, and then back up at him.

,,Seriously, Riddle? That's all you got?" I couldn't help but chuckle. ,,You expect me to fall over your leg like this? For real?"

With another annoyed look, he glanced in the opposite direction. With a silent groan, I took a purposely big step over his leg and left the classroom. That fucking childish, massive idiot...

M.R.

It was the evening of the same day, and dinner had just been served in the great hall.

Between Draco and Theodore, I was sat at the Slytherin table, carefully observing my surroundings. Waiting for this one specific person to enter the hall. That fucking...

But before I could even finish the thought, she arrived.

There she was. Phersephone Thorne, my worst nightmare and the most annoying girl in the whole of Ravenclaw. I watched her, as she walked down the middle way of the great hall.

Then I spotted Potter at his own table. It seemed like I wasn't the only boy, who had noticed Thornes arrival.

A little amused, I watches as Potters face lit up in anger, but mostly regret. He looked like he wanted nothing more, than to apologize and get her back. But even he knew as good as me, that if you ever cross Thorne in a bad way, she wouldn't forget about it. Never.

She was more the kind of person to haunt you down the rest of your life, making it a living hell. One aspect which made me and her pretty similar, and her extremely annoying to me. Really, I couldn't stand this bitch just one minute too long!

I kept on watching her sitting down at her table through gritted teeth, while pressing the cool towel on my hand, where her little burning spell hit me.

God knows, I should have known! It was her signature spell, she used so often... In my mind I cursed her and myself for being so stupid, while quietly poking around with my fork on my plate.

With a frustrated scoff, I turned my attention back to Potter. He was watching Thorne even more intense than me. His eyes seemed to be glued to her, but she looked like she couldn't care less. She always did.

Rolling my eyes, I focused on my food completely. It was definitely Potter's loss in this case. And I was sure he would realize that even more in the following days...

It was shortly after dinner had ended. Most students had already left the great hall, or were in the middle of doing so. I looked over again. Thorne was still sitting at her table, next to that Lovegood girl.

The two of them were pretty good friends, as far as I was concerned. I had returned my look to her back for less than five seconds, when she already seemed to sense it and turned around to face me through the hole hall.

Yes, she was a witch, but that shit was actually kind of scary... How could she possibly sense my eyes from this far?

Her own eyes twinkled with amusement as she looked back at me, and waved. I rolled my eyes, and her little friend, Lovegood, waved at me to. I watched as the two girls left the great hall together, giggling.

Thorne was the only reason me and my friends never picked on that Lovegood girl. She would have been the easiest victim for any kind of bullying and pranking, easy to lie to and to scare.

But Thorne was by her side almost all the fucking time, protecting her. It was like she adopted Lovegood...

Now, I wasn't saying that I would have been scared to get past Thorne to get to Lovegood. I wasn't scared to fight her, if it had to be. But I'd rather not.

Thorne was a real pain in the ass, and although I hated to admit it: she would have been a pretty fair opponent, in the case of a fight. She was a Ravenclaw after all, and on top of that a insanely smart and wicked one. I funking hated that about her.

But the boys and me tried to avoid getting in trouble with Lovegood, since we didn't want any problems with Thorne. Well, other than the problems we already had in school with her. But that was also my fault... I just couldn't stop teasing her! It was way too much fun.

At least... at least until she fucking burns your hand... What a bitch.
