And lastly, I hope you enjoy the book and check out the other accounts linked with this one. Now, what you REALLY came for, The Secondary Wheel.

Viola Quinn

Hi. I'm Viola. I live in Chicago, Illinois and I love music, but that's a given, considering my name.

I have brown hair and green eyes. I play Three instruments; The Guitar, The Piano and The Viola. Yeah, I know, Viola plays the viola. Big deal.

My Mom & Dad told me I was going to Oregon for the summer. I wasn't exited at first, but I did some research and found out that a bunch of weird and creepy things happen there. I may be shy, but I'm no stranger to danger. But that's a story for another day.

I sat in the back of the bus, notebook and colored pencils hand. I set my viola on the seat next to me and started drawing the scenery beyond the pane of glass. I knew it was going to be a long ride to Oregon, so I brought snacks, my phone (and charger, of course!) , some paper and art supplies, and some books.

I knew that three notebooks wouldn't last me through the summer, since I compose music and draw, so I brought at LEAST ten.

I found that I had drifted off to sleep, though, I didn't remember a dream.

When I finally arrived, I attempted to stand up. I was sitting so long that I barley could!

I half walked, half dragged my feet across the bus floor and hopped off. My jaw instantly dropped at the sight of the town. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL! XD

I walked to the big building that was the camp. I walked up to the door to find a sign that said "DANGER. NO ENTRY."

What? I thought to myself. How can this be the camp if- "Hi there friend!" I heard a man say. I looked over to see a couple of huts and a campfire. "The camp's over here! There was a breakage in the foundation of that building, so we'll be here this summer!" He pointed to the cabins. I sighed and walked over there.

There we're two log cabins. The one to the left was labeled "Boys' Cabin." and the one on the right said "Girls' Cabin." I walked into the cabin on the right and saw a few girls in there. I walked to the back of the room, away from all of the others and all of the windows and picked the bottom bunk of the far most bed from the door.

"Get yourself situated and get to know some of the other girls. Maybe you'll make a new friend!" The man said.

Instead I opened my viola case and took it out. I out my shoulder rest on and rosined up my bow. I began to play my favorite song, Nightshift by: Richard Meyer. I regretted that decision, though, since every one of the other five girls in the room came over. I don't think it was the song, I think it was just the instrument.

All of them started asking me questions at the same time. "Is that yours?" "Cool! Can I see?" "I play violin too!" " That's not a violin, idiot. It's a viola."

I looked up at the girl who made the last remark. She had reddish-brown hair and blue eyes.

"Hi. I'm Gemini. What's your name?" I hesitated before answering. "Viola." I responded. She looked at me?

" No, silly. Your name! Not your instrument's name." I sighed. Every time. " That IS my name. And no, I don't play just because we share a name."

"Wow, Cool!" She said. I was surprised. She thinks that's cool? I had no idea there was someone like me here!

We talked for a bit before going out to the campfire. I found out that she was twelve, like me, she liked cats, like me and that she loves the arts! All of them! Music, architecture, art, writing and reading.....

"Welcome campers to Camp Greyson! Is everyone exited?" The total of ten kids, including me, cheered. "Great! Now, let's go around the circle and introduce ourselves! I'm Mr. Brady," The lady sitting next to him continued. "... And I'm Mrs. Lee. We will be your counselors this year."

Mr. brady picked up where she left off, like it was scripted or something. "We are here whenEVER you need us! If you want to talk about something, we're here to listen!"

" This is dragging on." I whispered to Gemini. She giggled. "I know, right!" She whispered back. I'm happy to say that I've made a friend!

After a few other kids went, the attention came to me. I froze for a second before speaking. "H-hi. I'm Viola. I play three instruments and draw." Wow. That was pathetic!

We headed back to our cabins for bed. Time flew by, but I did get here at 6:30 and it's only 9:00 pm.

I looked at my phone and saw that I had 15% battery left. I scrambled around in the dark to find that there was an outlet right next to my bed. Score!

The sun in the windows woke me up. I thought I was as far away from the windows as possible! I then saw that it was night time, and the sun was actually a flashlight. After my eyes adjusted, I saw that behind the flashlight was- Gemini?

"Hurry!" She whispered. " I heard something outside!" "W-what?" I began, but she grabbed my arm and before I knew it, I was out the door.

That is the most I've ever written in one chapter! If you don't believe me, go look at my other account! 500 words Max. Okay, that's it for chapter one. Thanks for reading, and it is up to Molly, the person behind Gemini, to decide what the rustling outside was. Sorry, Molly. Spotlight's on you! Okay, hope you enjoyed!
