Chapter two: "Um..."

6:30 AM

"YO Y/NNNN WAKE UPPPPPP WE GOTTA GET READY FOR SCHOOL WE DONT LIVE IN THAT DISTRICT." Aaron yelled as he shook Y/n awake. She groaned and got up, did her daily routine, ate breakfast, and grabbed her skateboard.

7:00 AM

"Yo Aaron, you tryna skate to school?" Y/n asked her cousin. Aaron looked at her, and started to smile "Bet, but follow me so you know your way to school." Y/n grabbed her bag, her skate shoes and her bag, then Aaron grabbed his board, his bag, keys and exited out the door. "Is there a reason why you put shoes in your bag?" Aaron asked Y/n. "Because I dont wanna ruin my shoes that I don't use for skating." Y/n responded. Aaron nodded and started skating to school with Y/n following right behind him.

7:20 AM

NORTHSHORE HIGH

Aaron and Y/n made it there, and decided to play a game of skate while they were waiting for school to start. Once more people started coming, Y/n changed her shoes into her non skating shoes and the cousins walked into school office to get Y/n's schedule. "Sooooo what'd you get?" Aaron asked. Y/n showed him the schedule and started to cringe at it. "You got all the same classes as my ex..." Aaron said "You gotta be careful around her, okay?" "The hot blonde you told me about?" Y/n said as her cousin nodded. Aaron decided to introduce Y/n to his friends, Andrew, Ivan, Shane, and Josh. To her surprise, they were all very sweet and wanted to convince her to join sports. "Yeah, you should join basketball with us, Northshore lets any gender join sports!" Josh said with a smile. "Uhhhh maybe, when is tryouts?" Y/n asks making them all smile "Today!" Andrew says. "Are you trying out Aaron?" Aaron nods yes at her question "Alright then, I'm down." Y/n says, causing the group to celebrate.

8:00 AM

The school bell rang but was a little lost so Josh, who was in the same grade as Y/n showed her to her class. Y/n took a deep breath and entered the classroom feeling all eyes on her. "Oh! You must be Y/n! Hi, I'm Ms. Peterson, please take a seat anywhere. Y/n looked around and saw two people waving their hands and pointing to a seat in between them. Y/n made her way over and sat down. "Hi! I'm Janis, your name is Y/n, right?" A girl with dark hair asked. Y/n nodded and looked to her left. "I'm Damian, it's nice to meet you, do you have a last name we should know about?" Damian said while Y/n smiled at him and said "Samuels, like A-" "Aaron samuels?" Janis and Damian said in unison making Y/n nod. "He's my cousin." Y/n informs them. As the class went by, Y/n felt eyes at the back of her head the whole time but didn't pay attention to it. "Hey Y/n give us your number let's make a gc" Janis said while pulling out her phone. Y/n gave Janis her number and they all exited the class. "So, what class do you have next?" Damian asks. "Uhhhh.. Health education?" Y/n says while Damian and Janis show her to the class. "Bye Y/n we'll Text you during class." Janis said as she and Damian left. "Hey, Y/n! Sit here!" Josh says waving Y/n over. The whole class was about choking and being safe, but Y/n barely payed attention because her and Josh were talking. Josh tells Y/n about all the people she should know about, but one name catches her attention. "Aaron's ex, Regina George, be careful around her, okay? Don't tell her ANYTHING about yourself" Josh says whispering, "why are you so quiet?" Y/n asks "Because!" Josh says while pointing right behind them. Y/n looks back and sees 3 girls, one dark haired girl, a blonde, and a light brown haired girl. "Dude! Don't look at them!" Josh says gettin Y/n's attention. "Why not?" Y/n asks curiously. Josh then rants about the plastics and what they do. Y/n felt a tap on her back, and it was the girl with light brown hair. She looked back at her and saw her point at the teacher who was looking right at Josh and Y/n. Josh and Y/n both put their hands up in defense while the teacher went back to teaching and the two quietly started laughing. "You dumbass why a-" Y/n was interrupted by another tap on her back, this time it was the dark haired girl, but the bell rang before the girl could speak, and Josh immediately pulled her out the room and into the cafeteria where the other boys sat at. "Dude, Aaron, the plastics were trying to talk to your cousin." Josh says as Y/n and him sit down. All the boys started wiggling their eyebrows and teasing Y/n "Oooooh the first day and you already got their attention." Andrew says teasingly. Y/n was about to say something but she felt someone tap her back and make everyone at the table go silent while looking behind Y/n. You, confused looks at who it was. "Um....."
