"Have you even ask Sharra if she's willing to marry you bro?٫ I mean.. Sharra's very outgoing٫ and adventurous. While you're an introvert naman. I don't think this arrangement will ever work." puna ni Adam habang tumutungga ng beer in can٫ habang ang mga paa naman ay malayang naka lublob sa swimming pool.

Kasalukuyang nasa Tagaytay si Adam ngayon٫ yesterday Klent called. Saying he needed someone to talk ٫lalo pa't mag-isa nalang ito dito sa rest house. Kaya heto sila umiinum sa gilid ng pool.

"Nope٫ never٫ after all it's our parent's idea. She doesn't even have a clue yet." anito at walang ano-ano'y inisang lagok ang beer in can na nasa kamay nito.

"Wala kang balak umatras?." aniya ngunit naka tingala sa mga bituin sa langit ang mga mata.

"What?.. No way.. don't tell me٫ you're going to cancel the engagement?. it won't be fair. Paano si Arra?" he can't help but get irritated with the idea his mind is giving him. Kaibigan niya pareho sina Sharra at Klent pero mas matimbang parin sa kanya ang pag panig sa mararamdaman ni Sharra kung sakali man.

"How am I supposed to stop the arrangement Adam?٫ hmmm? tell me?. How? How can I even stop liking Shanna?." his heart skipped a beat for second hearing the name that was too familiar with him. Bigla ay nawalan siya ng kibo. He clinched his fist with the empty can in it٫ para iyong papel na agad nayupi sa kamay niya.
Ng makontento na sa ginawa ay hinagis niya iyon sa malaking basurahan sa di kalayuan sa puwesto nila.

"See?٫ kahit nga ikaw hindi makasagot diba?. Damn!!! I am screwed up men... I am obviously in love with someone I couldn't have while marrying her sister." he then hopelessly slamed himself on the hard and cold ground٫ feet are still on the water.

"Then٫ tell their parents that you wanted Shanna instead of Sharra." he suggest but part him didn't like his idea٫ bigla siyang kinabahan٫ hoping that Klent won't bite it.

"I already did that bro٫ but their parents told me that she belongs to someone else." mas lalo siyang nanigas ng marinig ang huling sinabi nito.
"BELONGS TO SOMEONE ELSE?." bakit parang may epekto sa kanya ang katagang yun?. Another reason kung bakit biglang nag iba ang ihip ng hangin sa kanya.
Napakunot ang noo niya at napilig ang ulo sa realisasyon.

Ni kahit kailan hindi siya nagka interest sa babae ٫kaya nga pinag dududahan niya ang sarili sa totoong kasarian niya.

The last time that Tyrone kissed him in the middle of the parking lot٫ he felt nothing but awkwardness and shame٫ there's nothing very special about that kiss.

Alam niya sa sariling pareho silang naka-inum at bunga lang iyon ng kalasingan.

The question is how is he going to understand Klent's sentiments, if he in himself is also confused of where he is really standing?.

He is thirty five٫ yet he's still a virgin.
Never had sex with any men or women٫ never been in love٫ never been into a romantic relationship٫ nor even dated anyone his whole life.
It's his choice٫ he just don't think he needed to settle down yet.

Though he has this undeniable longing for pleasure٫ which he could not resist sometimes..
