"Doctor, this is wonderful!" Rose exclaimed, putting her arm through his. Rose wasn't kidding- the view was amazing. A beach that stretched on to the horizon. People of all species were utilising the sandy vacation location. The Doctor and Rose shared a grin and stepped back in the TARDIS.

"First-" The Doctor closed the door. "Bathing suits!"

Rose grinned and giggled. "What are you like in swim trousers?"

"Wonderful." Rose scoffed. "No, really. I promise. You'll see! Now go get ready. I've got sunscreen."

Rose dashed through the hallways of the TARDIS and came to her room. The large area held a hanging bed over a circular pedestal area that had steps so Rose could get to the bed. There was also a wardrobe with coats of all sorts to the left of the door. A mirror rested on a desk to the right of the door. A closet was through a door on the right wall. A bathroom was across from the closet. Everything was based off the console room. It felt like home.

Rose went into the circular closet. It had two racks with clothes hanging along the walls. The ceiling was far above her head, so much so that she had to have a step ladder. There was a dresser in the back. She walked up to it and searched through a drawer for a bathing suit. She found a dark blue one that would show off her curves.

She slipped off her clothes and put on the bathing suit. She looked in the mirror and practiced her smile.

Wonder what The Doctor will think of this? She thought as she examined how her hips protruded just enough to look elegant and not too suggestive. She hoped he liked it. She hoped he'd say something. She knew he wouldn't.

She turned from the mirror and found a pretty green coverup. It was a one strap patterned dress. It reminded her of a planet The Doctor had taken her to visit a couple of weeks previous. That had been nice. She remembered a certain moment they'd shared... It had been romantic, to say the least. But nothing serious happened. She wished it would. She sighed. It never will. Then she pulled her hair into a ponytail and took one last glance in the mirror.

The Doctor had taken her to a moon named Sunshine. It used to circle a planet completely unlike Earth until that planet was destroyed in a war. That had been many years previous. Now the moon was a peaceful vacation location. It had an ocean which was what Rose and The Doctor were there for. Rose was excited to go, as she hadn't been to a beach in years.

The Doctor had rambled on about how the tide wasn't real, just a machine in the centre of the planet at work. She hadn't really listened, just nodded her head. That's what she normally did when he talked "technical". She laughed aloud at the thought.

She left her bedroom with flip flops and met The Doctor in the console room. She tried not to laugh at the sight of him in a t-shirt and swimming trousers. She failed.

"Oi!" He exclaimed, frowning. A smile spread on his face a second later as he looked Rose over. She was gorgeous, he knew it. He was lucky.

"You look... different." She managed.

"You do too." There was an awkward moment of silence between them before Rose went up to The Doctor and held his hand.

"You said you've got sunscreen?"

"Right." The Doctor let go of her hand. Then he reached to the console and picked up a yellow tube. "Here." He handed it to Rose.

She put it on the skin that would be exposed, like her neck, legs, arms, etc., but found a problem when she got to her back. "Um... Doctor?"

"Yes?" He'd been watching her lather on the protection as if she was going to burn to a crisp. When she looked at him, he pretended to be looking at something under their feet.
