OVER THE NEXT THREE DAYS, aurora could barely sleep. she tossed and turned at night, thinking mostly about why she kissed gracie. she didn't want to do it. well, she did, but not in that moment and it worked out horribly for aurora because she thought that gracie didn't like her anyways.

she didn't know where things would go from here. would gracie still want to be friends with her? would gracie hate her? would it be awkward? there was too many unanswered questions wandering in auroras head for her to handle. she also didn't know that gracie was already back from ohio.

she woke up from a light nap with a next message from olivia.

aurora jumped from her bed to go get dressed. she decided to go with something short and revealing - she needed to be distracted from the thoughts racing through her head. she did a quick makeup look, which ended up taking her almost an hour, and walked out of her bedroom. as she went towards the door, the tequila bottle on the top of the liquor cabinet stared at her, calling her name. she stared back at it, before succumbing to the pregame urges. quickly downing a shot (or two) of tequila, she raced out the door to meet the driver waiting for her.

aurora made her way into olivia's house already filled with piles of people. the searched through the crowd before finding olivia at the bar talking to louis. "liv!" aurora cheered, pleased to see olivia.

"aurora, hi!" olivia greeted, hugging aurora. "how are you?"

"i'm okay. hi louis." aurora waved.

"hi aurora." he smiled.

"that's great." olivia said.

aurora sat down next to olivia, assessing the party. she looked through the crowd, searching for nobody in particular, before she saw someone she wished she didn't have to see. "oh shit." aurora sighed.

"what?" olivia questioned.

"why didn't you tell me gracie would be here?" aurora asked, watching gracie make out with her stupid boyfriend in the corner of the room.

"why would i? i thought you would've known already?"

"shit, shit, shit-"

"what is it? are you guys fighting or something?" olivia interrupted.

"not exactly," aurora began, grabbing olivia's arm and pulling her away. "sorry louis, i have to borrow her for a second."
