Showfire's realisation (may delete)

Accepted

When I showed the companions who I truly was, most of them did not trust me. My fear of not being accepted was confirmed. They were afraid of my scales and Argonian nature. I bet that they were also really jealous of my ability to breathe underwater.

I moved on and ignored the comments and harsh words. I stood strong for I was stronger than any of them. In strength and wisdom. I would not let them get to me. So I ignored them and completed my tasks as instructed by the leader. And I completed my tasks more efficiently than anyone else.

Eventually I started to gain respect. The harsh words started to turn into praise and even fear. I worked best alone. So no one knew my true skills or how I complete my tasks so efficiently.

When I was forced to work with a shield sibling, I practiced my skills in stealth and daggers. I even created my own skill. I gave designs to Eorlund Gray-Mane at the Skyforge. He crafted them to perfection. My very own throwing knives. They were light, silent and deadly if thrown in the right areas.

I had just completed my most recent companions mission when the leader asked for me to come to him.

"Shade you have worked really hard to prove yourself as one of us even with the harsh words bring you down. I think that it is time for us to show you what being a companion is really about. You are about to join our ranks and be accepted into the inner circle"

"Thank you leader" I said

"Please you have been accepted into our inner ranks please call me Asgorn. For that is my name." The leader I mean Asgorn said. "Tonight we will start the ritual that will allow you to be part of our inner ranks.".... "Come to the Under-forge tonight when the moon reaches its peak. You will then be presented with the true powers of a companion." I then nodded my head and left the room.

The main room where all the companions got together went silent as I entered it. I thought they were over me being an Argonian. Guess not. I sat down on a lone stool in the corner and started to eat some of the nice bread that was made this morning. There I sat waiting for night to come and the moon to rise to its full height.

It had been a few hours but since I started waiting late afternoon, it wasn't long. The sun had disappeared behind the small hills and the moon was a quarter of its journey in the sky. I thought now would be a god time to look for the Under-forge. I guessed that it was the strange door-like rock that protected a cave under sky-forge. That may be why it was called Under-forge, because it's under a forge.

As I walked out the building I saw Asgorn, He confirmed my suspicion that the Under-forge is under Sky-forge. But then he told me not to interact with him until the moon reached its peak.

A little bit before the moon reached its highest point in the sky, I decided to head to the Under-forge. Asgorn was already there waiting for me.

"Now don't freak out by what you see when you get inside" Asgorn warned before he opened the rock door and we walked inside. There was a werewolf standing at the back of the room. "I hope you recognise Fallow. Even if she is not in her human form. She has agreed to bless you with the gift of the wolf"

"Asgorn, may I interrupt. I um already have the gift of the wolf. I was just um unsure if you would accept me if i told you that. And before you ask, my father was a werewolf and he passed his werewolf genetics down to me." Both Asgorn and Fallow looked shocked. It was funny seeing a werewolf looking surprized, not something you see often.

"Well, um because you have the gift I would like to see your wolf form please" Asgorn spoke.

I focused on my werewolf form, and prayed that my vampire form did not show at all. If my vampire lord form showed through, than I would have to run from the companions. No one likes a vampire in their mists. Even if I am half werewolf.

Luckily I shifted into a complete werwolf with no vampire lord form in sight. Asgorn and Fallow then started to ask many questions, which I answered to the best of my abilities.

I had been accepted by the companions and I am proving my worthiness. For now, while it is safe, I will learn as much about werewolf's and vampire lords as I possibly can. I will return home when I am ready but for now I am home. And I like it here.

MUST READ... IMPORTANT

I am sorry for not updating this story in forever. I have lost inspiration to write this story. As you may be able to tell from the title change, I may delete this story. I find it irritating to read a story on Wattpad and find out that the author may never update it again, so I may delete this story. This is so that no one reads this story, then becomes annoyed because I hardly update it.

I decided that since I may delete it soon, I will post this last chapter, to conclude it and not just suddenly stop the story on an authors note, which is not fun for anyone. This chapter may be the last for this story. I am sorry...
