When I answered the door I found out it was my friend Leo.

"surprise Sparky"  he said barging his way inside  "here someone told me to give you this".

"Why would a someone give me this, I thought the whole town was invited to my surprize party aswell as anyone else who could come couldnt they give it to me then"

"yeay but this person didn't come"

"why not"

"sheash do u want me to barg into other peoples personal lives"

"no but I was just curious about why they didnt come to my party"

"how am I supposed to know that"

"I dont know maybe you could have asked them when they gave you the gift"

"I guess so"

"nevermind, anyways what did u get me for my birthday"

"o you know"

Then he pulled out the most beautiful looking flowers,

"wow they are so beautiful"

"wait for it"

Then they changed colors to a shocking violet the a magesit blue, and basicly any colour in its best tone.A

ccepting the gifts I hugged him.

"wow wow wow keep it pg rated kids" my dad said as he walked into the room

"dad we are just hugging its not like we are making out or something" I replied to his irritating comment "plus its my birthday can't I have some fun"

"fine" he mumbled walking out of the room

After opening his present which came with the flowers I saw that his other present was an awesome looking bow complete with sharp arrows perfect for hunting with. After Leo left I looked at the person gift.

a letter attached to the strangers gift You are in danger. Make sure you are in the forest tonight or you will hurt the ones you love and you will die.

Talk about creepy. putting the letter aside I opened the gift. it was a necklace. But not just any necklace, this one was of a dragon holding a glistening emerald in its front claws. It was beautiful.

Deciding to take the notes warning as real just in case. I snuck into the forest at night, walking to my familure path to the riverbed so I wouldn't get lost. then the pain Began
