the rest of her family is complicated to say the least. her sister (Janice) married at the age of 19, but later divorced because of abuse, her brother (Jaxon) is gay and in the closet, though he is out to very few of his siblings (including Desdemona), her younger sister (Bethany) is an explorer just as her older sister is, though not nearly as brave as she is. her younger brother (Lucas) is very brave and is willing to follow his older sister to the end of time, very loving towards each other and always willing to encourage one another to keep going.
Desdemona has always been a wanderer, which is why people call her a ghost, and sometimes a demon as an insult. the only time they really see her is out in the woods, her skin is very pale due to pallor, which is why she is called a ghost.
