personality:

her greatest weakness is seeing Eleven getting injured or using her powers too often. however, she is a bit more violent than Eleven and will not hesitate to break someone's neck without feeling remorse. although, she is able to detect her own emotions and control them especially while using her powers. some say she may be stronger than Eleven, including Dr. Brenner himself, but Thirteen denies it. she is very monotone. has a little more in her vocabulary since she went through school for a little while.

claims Will is her favorite, Eleven (although they're more like sisters), Dustin, Max, Lucas (she was very suspicious of him because of his dislike toward El, but he grew on her), partially Mike, and Steve

backstory:
she was sent to a foster home when she was born. when she grew older, the other girls started bullying her, but it soon became violent. she used her powers in self-defense which led to accidentally killing one of them. since she was just a kid and it was self defense, the government took her in.
when she was in the Hawkins lab, she met Eleven who arrived before her. Eleven helped her control her powers since Dr. Brenner was far too strict. they grew a healthy sister-like friendship, and Maeve was protective against Brenner. she encouraged Eleven that they could escape together, and although Eleven was in debate, she eventually agreed. when they escaped the lab, she was super clingy to Eleven. fortunately, she didn't mind...until she met Mike.
if she weren't so attached to Eleven and her friends, she may have become a villain.

powers:
telekinesis and necromancy

side effects of powers:
after using necromancy, she won't be able to use it for a while. after using telekinesis, she'll cry blood which looks cool but not fun.
