He woke up on a weird beach, sitting atop an odd marble structure. Upon closer inspection, it seemed to be some sort of shrine. It had words engraved into a plaque (idk if I spelled it right), but the words were too old and worn to read. He had a million questions racing through his mind. How did he get here? Where is here? Where is Lumine? How long had he been asleep for? He had so many questions but seemingly no answers. He tried to get his wings out but noticed he just couldn't. He got worried because this had never even happened before. "What the..." he stood up shakily. His muscles were hard to move for some reason. He assumed he had been asleep for quite a while if it's already hard to move his arms and legs. He crawled off of the shrine like platform and shakily stepped on the beach. He decided to stretch his legs a bit so he could be in good enough shape to explore a bit more.
After a few hours of pacing around, lifting things, and trying to rebuild strength in his muscles, he sat back down on the shrine and tried to recall what had happened before he fell to the beach. All he could really remember was an unknown goddess stopping them from leaving a very red and destroyed place. She attacked him and Lumine and eventually caught Lumine in her weird cubes. He had tried to save her, but it was hopeless. He charged up an energy blade (I think that's what it is) and hit the unknown goddess with everything he had left after the exhausting and draining experience he had had prior to this event that he just couldn't seem to remember. The energy blade caused a huge explosion, but the unknown goddess was completely unaffected and instead caught him. All he could remember after that was terrible nightmares that he just couldn't seem to wake up from for some reason.
After almost a week of being on the beach, he found a crappy fishing rod. It was super flimsy, but he would much rather take it than nothing because he was absolutely starving. He went fishing for a while and caught some really good food. He made a fire out of wood he found nearby and used it to cook the fish.
After a week or two, he noticed a big looking thing in the water. He assumed it was a fish, so he cast his rod and waited for the fish to get it. Once he had hooked the fish, he reeled it in. As soon as it was out of the water, though, he realized it was a small, fairy looking person. He immediately helped the person, and after an hour or two, she woke up. (For some reason, I can't type this out, so instead, I'll show a picture)

Aether was slightly perplexed by the language. He hadn't heard that language in a very long time, so he just stared at her blankly. "...what...?"
