Aether was super confused

Aether was super confused. He had heard the language before, but he hadn't had enough time to learn much of it. He knew the strange person said 'who' and then something else, but he couldn't quite tell what it was. He went based on the assumption that she asked who he was and hoped she would understand his name. "I'm Aether"

After a few months, the creature he soon learned was named Paimon, who started to teach him the most commonly used language of Teyvat. He wasn't amazing at speaking it yet, but he had a good grasp of the language. The two of them spoke and had an amazing time talking and learning about one another, though Aether couldn't remember too much about the day he tried to leave Teyvat.

"So Paimon... whe-... Where a-...am I?" Aether spoke softly. His tone was that of slight amusement because of the gorgeous scenery and ocean view. "You're on a beach!" Paimon responded, and Aether gave her a look. "Paimon was just joking! You're in Monstadt... did you really not know...?" She sounded a bit puzzled as to why he hadn't even known where he had apparently been sleeping. "N-Not rea... really..." He seemed slightly embarrassed at the fact he didn't know where he was, but Paimon didn't mind. "It's fine! Paimon just has one question, though. You said you woke up on this beach. How did you fall asleep here?"

Aether explained it, and the dialogue is just that of the opening cutscene. The two of them decided to set off to try and find Aether's sister, though Aether decided to use the name Caelum (Let me know if you want me to change it cuz I have no ideas for that) for reasons he wouldn't explain to Paimon for whatever reason.

They set off and explored the wilderness. They saw a statue, and Paimon explained what it was. (Not including all that because Paimon is a mega yapper, no offense Paimon 🫶)

Aether walked over to the statue and touched it gently. He felt the cold metal plate get slightly colder, and soon, Anemo elemental energy converged around him. "W-what the...!?" Paimon spoke with a surprised tone as the anemo elemental partials resonated within Aether. "I-is this normal...?" He looked up at Paimon and spoke with confusion. Paimon shook her head. "Nope, Paimon is just as stumped as you are... but it looks like you got Anemo powers!" Paimon seemed amazed at that. "No fair! Paimon wants cool powers, too!" Aether laughed at her pouty tone and glanced over to the right. He saw some pyro slimes approaching, and Paimon spoke up. "Maybe you could test your new powers out on those slimes!" Aether nodded slightly. "yea..." he brought his hand up and a surge of wind came from his palm. The wind was almost like a mini vortex. He sucked the slimes closer, and when he stopped the vortex, they blasted into the water that surrounded the statue.

"Woah!" Paimon spoke happily, but just then, mote slimes appeared. Aether summed up as much energy as he could and created a mini tornado that sucked the slimes up and brought them away. "You look so cool! Paimon really wants cool powers now!" Aether laughed softly, and they spiek a bit more before continuing on, not really having much of a destination in mind.

They continued until they heard a loud noise. They both looked up and saw a huge blue dragon flying overhead. It was heading towards the heart of the forest up ahead. "Is... th-...that a dr-dragon!?" He quickly looked over to Paimon. "A-are drag-gons normal in t-this wo-world!?" Paimon shook her head. "No! Paimon has never seen a dragon before! We should follow it!" Aether nodded. He didn't have much else to do, so why not follow the huge dragon?
