The car stops infront of baba's office, I can see him talking to someone on the mobile standing near the window.

I step out of the car and look up at the impressive building that is baba's office. The architecture is grand and the exterior is made of polished stone, giving it a dignified and imposing feel.

As I step inside, I'm greeted by a spacious, well-lit lobby decorated with elegant furniture and tasteful artwork. The walls are adorned with allocades and awards, showcasing baba's dedication and expertise in law enforcement.

The commissioner office itself is a sight to behold. The desk is large and commanding, but not intimidating. A rich mahogany finish gives it an air of authority, while the tidy stack of papers and files create an atmosphere of productive work.

The windows behind the desk offer a stunning view of the city skyline, and the plush seating area provides a comfortable space for meetings and discussions.

The walls are lined with photographs of baba shaking hands with influential figures and participating in community events, demonstrating his commitment to serving and protecting the public.

The room exudes professionalism and integrity, baba's own character as a leader in the law enforcement community. I feel privileged to be in such remarkable space, knowing that it is a reflection of the dedication and passion of the man Shafiq Mohammad who leads it. And I feel proud to be his daughter.

"Assalamualaikum Shafiq saab", I said and entered his office room without knocking.

"Walaikumasalam, aa gayi meri chanda", he said coming towards me.

"Main amma se hi baat kar rha tha, suna hai aaj aapka mood nhi h university jane me", he said making me look at him while keeping the tiffin box on the table.

"Hmm", I simply hum and pull a rose out of the tiffin bag, and turn to face him. Damn baba looks too young for his age.

"Main yeh gulaab kaha rakhu", I asked as I gaze at the beautiful flower in my hand.

"Take a glass fill it with water and keep the rose in it", he said pecking my head.

"Ok", I did as he said.

"Chanda mujhe bhook lagi h", baba said rubbing his tummy.

"Sorry Baba, main toh baaton me hi lag gayi", I said smaking my forehead.

"Hmm", he hums as he sit on the sofa in his office room. I walk towards the sofa and grabbed the Tiffin and opened it. Dal, roti, bhindi, and achar I lick my lips looking at the meal. I love bhindi roti.

"Baba, next week, Rida ka nikah hai", I said taking a piece of roti and bhindi in my mouth.

"Haan, Sharif ne call kiya tha, keh raha the ke tumhe bheje, Maine mana kar diya", he said gazing up at me.

"Thik kiya baba aapne, mujhe zyada logon se anxiety hone lagti hai", I said with a smile.

"I know", he said with a knowing smile on his face. Iam not a social person. I hate gatherings, I hate being around lots of people. I love being alone, I love my own company.

"Sir, the details about Sikandar", A man said entering the room without knocking. I glanced at him, noticing that he was dressed in a sleek black armani suit that perfectly accentuated his broad shoulders and muscular physique. His warm brown eyes held a captiavting warmth, while his straight nose added to his striking features. The beard covering his face gave him a rugged appeal, making him undeniably handsome. Quickly averting my gaze, I focused on my meal and mumbled, "astaghfirullah", feeling guilty for having checked him out in that way.

Tauba, tauba, tauba", I mumbled internally and take a sip of water to calm my nerves.

"Haan, andar aao Aahil nashta karo hamare saath", baba said to the man, making him step inside the office.

"Nahi sir maine nashta kar liya hai, bas yeh file dene aaya tha,", he said and kept the folder on the table and left the room. I took the morsel in my mouth with a spoon.

"Bohot hi samajhdar, suljha hua khuddar ladka hai", baba said with admiration in his voice, making me look at him.

"Aapko kaise pata baba, samne kuch aur peeche kuch aur hoga", I said.

"Let's just say I can read a person like an open book", baba replied, with a wink making me shake my head while chuckling.

"Psychology padhni chahiye thi mujhe, phir yun minton mein main logon ke chehre padh leti, nazrein pehchan leti, aapki tarah", I said with a pout.

"Tumhe phir kuch pata nahi chanda, kisi ko jaan lena, bohot bada azaab hota hai, chehre padhne lagon gi to, toh dostiyan toot jayengi, nazrein pehchanogi toh kahi yon se ghin aani shuru ho jayegi, aur main nahi chahta ke tum kisi ko padho", baba said pecking my head.

"Toh aapne uss aadmi ka chehra kyu pada", I asked, as I gently pecked his hand.

"Woh, mera kaam hai, main pehle insan ko padhta hu phir uske muthalik apna rawaiya ekhtiyar karta hoon", baba replied shrugging his shoulders.

"Fair enough", I said with a smile, and we both continued eating our food while laughing and chitchatting. But my mind was getting drifted to the file that was kept on the table. After finishing my food I stood up from the sofa and walked towards the table and opened the file. My eyes got stuck into the file, there was a man's photo in that file. He was handsome, like the most handsome man I have ever seen in my life. He was more beautiful and handsome than the man who kept the file here.

The man in the photo resembled a Greek god, with jet-black hair, thick brows, a perfect and sharp jawline, a light beard, and gray eyes. His whitish complexion, broad shoulders and well defined muscles were accentuated by the navy blue armani suit he wore. I trace my fingers over his face in the photo, awestruck by his beauty. What the hell, get a grip, Heer --- this is haram! Yet, I feel as if I'm hypnotized by this man's allure.

"That's Shehryar Sikandar, the head of the Sikandar organization", baba said as he approached, prompting me to close the file and look up at him. "We've been trying to get him arrested for three years now, but we always end up with no evidence against him", he continued, settling into his office chair, frustration was evident in his voice. I couldn't help but reflect on how deceptive appearances can be. His captivating beauty is mesmerizing, yet the nature of his work is repulsive. Nevertheless, I believe he must have his reasons for leading a crime organization.

Baba caught me off guard when he suddenly said, "I have hired a instructor for you and I want you to learn self-defence",

"But why, baba?", I asked, pouting.

"Its for your own safety, chanda. I want you to pay attention in the classes; the trainer will come to our home tomorrow morning", baba said, prompting me to let put a fake cry. I hate anything other than eating and sleeping.
