"What are you doing here?", I asked Aahil, who was standing near a pharmacy.
"Umm, I'm here with your dad", he replied, making me swallow hard in fear.
"My dad?", I asked in confusion.
"Yeah, his blood pressure increased", he said with a sympathetic smile, causing my face to pale.
"What do you mean? He was fine an hour ago; he called me and said he was coming to pick me up", I said in a panic tears started to well in my eyes.
"Yeah, he was informed that some one was following you", he said, leaving me even more confused.
"Someone following me? Why would someone follow me?", I questioned.
"No idea", he answered, grabbing the medicines from the man and starting to walk back into the hospital.
I followed him, tears streaming down my face. I can't lose baba; he is not only my father, he is my friend, my mother, my brother, my secret keeper--he is every thing to me. If I lose him, I won't have a reason to live.
"By the way, what are you doing here?", he asked, making me look up at him while wiping my tears.
"Miss Heer, you can't go anywhere without informing me", Alex growled from behind me, causing me to turn and look at him.
"I...I did inform you; I told you I was taking Fahad bhai to the hospital", I replied, a sob escaping my lips.
"Why are you crying, Miss Heer?", he asked.
"Its nothing. Just take me to baba", I ordered Aahil, who was looking between me and Alex.
"You just can't go around with any stranger like that; it's dangerous", Alex shouted as he stepped in front of me.
"He is not a stranger; he works with baba", I snapped, feeling irritated.
"Just because he works with your baba doesn't mean he can't harm you", Alex said.
"Please stop with your questioning and yelling", I cried out. "Baba is in the hospital".
"What happened to him?", he asked his voice sounded somewhat gentler than before.
"I don't know he just told me his blood pressure increased", I said, quietly, then walked away without waiting. The medicines smell was making me feel nauseated.
I walked into hospital corridor, feeling scared by the white walls. Seeing baba like this was difficult for me. As I entered his patient room, I saw him sitting with his glasses in hand, pinching the bridge of his nose. In the corner, a middle-aged nurse was washing her hands at the basin. I walked further into the room, filled with worry and concern.
I stood infront of baba, glaring at him for not following my instructions properly.
Didn't I tell him to take his medicine after eating? How dare he not take them!
