"The court is adjourned", the judge announced and the crowd got up showing respect, and waited till the judge left and few hugged eachother and a few looked down in disappointment as they lost the case. A guy was sent to jail and the one who won the case embraced Meerab tightly who gave justice to them.

Meerab walked out of the court wearing a white shirt and a black full-sleeve jacket with a soft collar, a white band, and a black heel. Her hair was tied into a bun and her head was straight in pride as she got what she dreamt of.  Now she hates it when hairs are set free. She hated it when someone complimented her for her hair like him. She hated everything related to him yet she missed him the most.

After talking to the family and wishing them good luck for their happy life. She walked out with pride and satisfaction after winning her 50th case. She walked towards Virat who was standing in the sunlight talking to a client. She slowly walked towards them and waited for him to end the conversation and when they finished the conversation she walked towards him.

"I won", she announced which made him smile and he took her to the canteen to celebrate her win. They both settled together with Meerab ordering black coffee and him ordering tea as usual. She opened her coat put that on her lap and looked at Virat who had been with her from the day she joined the University. Even though she took a year to trust him and accept him as her friend his softness and helping nature couldn't resist from accepting him as her friend. Till now they have been together like they have known eachother since childhood. He also had a dark past which only she knows but she is not yet comfortable sharing her past with any of them.

"You deserve it Meerab. You are very talented. I am your senior but feel like I need to learn from you", he said which made Meerab smile and she looked away as she didn't think she was a very good lawyer. Here is the one who takes very less cases according to his schedule and wins every case. Whereas she takes cases just to keep herself busy so that she doesn't remember him. It's been 2 years still her heart yearns for his glimpse, just to know if he is fine or not. He betrayed her but still, her heart beats for that betrayer. She asks God daily why she. Her life here was not that difficult as she had money already so she got admission easily and her law journey was successful because she kept working day and night.

"You are also the best lawyer Virat ", she whispered and looked up to see the waiter standing behind with a cup of coffee. Virat gestured for the waiter to put the coffee near her and when the waiter left he lay on the chair relaxing himself as the day was hectic for him. He had to go for a case of land where cars were not allowed and he is hell tired after walking a lot.

"Coffee loge", Meerab asked. He sat straight and looked at her cup to see espresso which he hates

"Thank you. I am not a sugar patient. God knows how can you drink sugarless coffee", he rolled his eyes looking at her Espresso. He hates the taste because he is habitual of having tea and loves cappuccino if someone asks about coffee. He wonders how can Meerab have it without making any faces. Moreover, he wonders how can she stay emotionless in front of others. She talks to only one person in the court that is, with the rest of them she is formal and avoids having conversations. He knows something happened and wants to heal her but doesn't know how. She never tells him anything related to her past.

"It's Espresso", Meerab said

"Thanks for telling me I didn't know", he said sarcastically and looked at the waiter who came with his tea he took the cup in his hands to warm it as he was feeling very cold

"This is heaven", he said with a smile and started to sip his tea. He looked at Meerab who was lost looking at someone, on following her direction he found her looking at a man wearing a shawl. He noticed her eyes glistening with tears and placed his hand on hers
