The blaring sound of the alarm pierces the silence, jolting me awake. Groggily, I fumble for the snooze button, squinting against the sudden intrusion of light as I reluctantly start my day.
I had no idea what time is it right now. I looked at my phone and jumped from my bed.
"Oh no! I'm late, It's already 8 am. Dad! Dad! Why don't you wake me up?".
I rushed down the stairs to find my dad.
"You said you don't have class today, right?".
"But it's Thursday Dad!".
"You said it's 1 day off after the camp. You told me last night while having dinner".
"O-oh...".
I completely forgot that I don't have class today. It's probably because I'm exhausted, making it hard to remember things.
"I already made the breakfast for you on the table. Eat them before it gets cold. I'll get to work, bye-bye, son. Take care, okay, don't do anything reck-".
"I know, I know, Dad, I got it. Be careful on your way to work".
"Yeah, bye".
Dad closed the door and got into his car.
The house has been so quiet since mom left us. I eat my breakfast alone, in the silence of this house. The morning light mesmerized me with my childhood. Mom always cooked for us, and Dad would sing in the kitchen to entertain my mom. Those happy days have now disappeared. I looked at the picture frame on the table; there was a picture of us together. We're looking so happy that day. I hope that I can turn back the time just to say a proper apology to my mom.
"Don't cry, or else I'll cry too".
A robotic arm hugging me from behind.
"Ochobot?".
"Your dad has left; none gonna see me right now."
That's right, at least I'm not alone here. I have Ochobot to fill up my loneliness.
"Um... Ochobot. What is my power? You said that I could control 7 elements; what do you mean by that?".
I'm curious.
"You have the power to control 7 Elements. Including Lightning, Wind, Earth, Fire, Water, Leaf, and Light".
Ochobot described.
"W-what?".
"7 elements of Lightning, Win-".
"No, stop. I mean, why there's so many powers. My friends just have 1 power instead of 7".
"I don't know the details. But it seems your power is connected".
"Why you don't know?".
"I'm just a robot programmed by someone".
My mood changed drastically, from a gloomy sky to a bright sunshine. I'm holding a power of 7 elements, this is insane.
"So, can you help me to discover all of my powers?".
"Sure, where should we train at?".
"Let's go to the backyard".
I opened the kitchen door and walked to my backyard.
"Okay, I know some of my powers. First one is lightning".
*Bzzt-Bzzt
I pointed my finger at the others.
"There's a better way to use it. Try imagining a sword on your hand".
I close my eyes and imagine what Ochobot said.
