The door opened, and Rishi tightened his hold on Lakshmi's hand, sensing her nervousness which was increasing
The door opened, with Ahana, Devika, Virendra, and Dadi standing in the front, while Malishka, Neelam and Sonia and Karishma bua are at the back, with their usual glares
Lakshmi relaxed a bit, not having to face Neelam and her taunts in that moment, she was warmly welcomed by the rest of the family
Ayush had taken Shalu and Bani back to their Chachi's house
Rishi didn't leave Lakshmi's hand for even a second, but she left his hand when she was about to face Neelam
"Phasa liya phirse humare bete ko tumne?" Neelam comments glaring at her
Rishi holds Lakshmi's hand once again, this time, making it impossible for her to leave it, making her even more nervous
"Haath chodo Rishi" Neelam says with a straight face, as she witnessed the action
"No Mom, Lakshmi... meri wife hai...meri marzi se aayi hai is ghar main... ap ki marzi se aayi THI is ghar main, par apki marzi se jaayegi nahi" Rishi says, with a stiff tone, making Neelam shocked
She looked at Lakshmi, clenching her fists, and then commenting
"Dekh liya, ab tumhari waja se humare bete ko humare faisle par aetraz hai" Neelam said, making Lakshmi look down, and trying to control her tears, which were moments away from dripping
Ignoring the serious situation as always, Malishka runs forward and hugs Rishi to which he pushes her away, warning her
Malishka stood there surprised, she looked at Neelam in defence, but she didn't say anything
"Don't Malishka" Rishi stated, pointing his finger in front of her, astonishing her
"Rishi tum phirse pagal ho rahe ho iske liye, tumhe samajh nahi araha kya, ye tumhe phirse pharsane ki koshish kar rahi ha" Karishma says, to which Rishi replies in defense
"Lakshmi meri biwi hai, aur ab agar kisi ne bhi mujhe issue alag kiya toh main ye ghar chod kar chala jaunga" Rishi says, before storming upstairs to his room, along with Lakshmi
Shutting the door, Lakshmi sat on the bed with him, while he tried to calm himself down
"Rishi shaant ho jao, unko raise nahi samjhana chahiye tha tumhe" Lakshmi says calmy, unaffected by all the mean comments and accusations that she just witnessed
Rishi looked at her, amazed at her intense level of patience and trust in him, he holds her hand, and apologized for his family's treatment toward her
Hugging him tightly, Lakshmi assured him that it's fine, and both stay in that hug for quite some time
