After their divorce, Lakshmi forces herself to look for a job in order to feed her family. When she finds one as a housemaid at someone's house, she has to face multiple difficulties in order to make ends meet, while Rishi tries to look for her
Rishi heads closer, and holds Lakshmi's arm, she faces him, but was determined not to forgive him for what he had done
Rishi tears up again, and gets closer to her, he connects their foreheads and closes his eyes
"I'm sorry Lakshmi, maine tumhara bharosa thoda, tumhe itna dukh diya, par please, mujhe explain karne ka mauka do, PLEASE" He pleads her, while she remains stubborn
Rishi pulls her closer and their chests collide, he pleads her once again
Lakshmi starts to tear up, hearing his apology in such a sincere way, made Lakshmi feel guilty for not giving him a chance, but she seperated from him and created distance between them
"Please, tumhe ye sab bolne ki zaroorat nahi hai, tum bas aj raat yahan pr rukko, kal yahan se chale jana" She stubbornly claims
"Nahi, main tumhare bager yahan se kahi nahi ja raha, please, mujhe aik aakhri mauka de do, apni aur tumhari life wapis jaisy thi waisy karne ke liye" He pleads her, joing his hands in front of her
Lakshmi started to melt, what could she do, she was indeed a women, a women with a heart, how could she not forgive the person she loved the most
"Please, tum mere saath waapis ghar chalo, please" He says, before breaking down entirely
He fell to his knees in front of her, and begged for forgiveness
Lakshmi couldn't hold back her tears, she broke down with him, but made him stand of his feet again
He pleaded for forgiveness again and held her shoulders
Lakshmi closed her eyes, and as tears flew down her cheeks, she listened to Rishi's words saying sorry continuously

Rishi couldn't hold himself up for long, he started losing his balance and captured Lakshmi in a bone-crushing hug, She responded back with equal zest and held him close
Both stayed in their hug for quite some time, feeling each other's presence
Once out of the hug, Rishi sneezed again, and Lakshmi continued to feel his neck and forehead to see if he had a fever
He indeed had a high fever, and a panicked Lakshmi called out for Shalu and Bani to make soup for him
"Tum, bas ab rona band karo, aur rest karo, bukhaar ho raha hai tumhe, leto" She says, wiping his tears away and laying him down on her bed
Rishi kept staring at her, wondering if she had forgiven him or if her response to their hug was just a matter of the situation
He examines her room, but Lakshmi makes him face her, and holds his face
"Tum, idhar udhar dehkna band karo, main soup doongi, tum woh pee kar ache se rest krna, so jaana, taaqi kal wapis jaa sako" Rishi's face breaks into a huge smile
He thought Lakshmi meant that she will go back with him, but she actually meant so he and Ayush could go back tomorrow
Shalu and Bani bring the medecine and the soup
"Dihaan se di, garam hai" Shalu warns Lakshmi as she was about to take the bowl from her
Lakshmi made Rishi get up, he leaned against the backrest of the bed, and smiled at Lakshmi
"Ab tum dono, bahar gadda rakh do hum teeno ke liye, aj bahar so jaayenge, Rishi aur Ayush yahin soyenge" Lakshmi tells Shalu and Bani, and they nod
They go outside to prepare their place to sleep
"Mujhe tumhare saath sona hai" He says, closing his eyes
"Pagalon wali batein mat karo Rishi, chup kr ke y soup peo, aur so jao" She scolds him, feeding him another sip of the soup
Rishi smiles at her concern for him, and satisfyingly eats the soup, he sneezes once again and gets lightly wacked on the head by Lakshmi
"Bola tha tumhe, mere peeche mat aana, aur aana hi tha toh baarish main bheegne ki kya zaroorat thi" She scolds him
"Tum...kitna kosti ho mujhe, har waqt bas ghussa hi karti rehti ho, kabhi pyaar bhi k-" He says, but stops midway, realising what he had just said
Lakshmi fixates in her position and stares at him, but then focuses on feeding him
"Tum...soch samajh kar bola karo" She stammers
"Acha, tum...mujhe sleeping pills dedo, ghar main han?" He asks, looking into her eyes, but immediately looks down when she death stares him
"Tum, aisy ankhon se goli kyun maar rahi ho mujhe?" He innocently asks her
"Ankhon se goli is liye maar rahi hun, ke maine tumhe bola hua hai na, ke sleeping pills mat khaya karo, phir bhi tum khaate ho" She scolds him once again
"Are lekin...acha theek hai, phir tum apna woh neend laane wala jadu kar do" He requests her, while his teary eyes sparkle in the dim light
"Bas, meta pet full hai" He says, stopping her hand by holding it
"Tumhare haath abhi bhi garam hai Rishi, chalo, medicine kha lo, aur rest krlo" She says, when she felt his warm hand on her one
"Neend ka jaado?" He whines once again, to which Lakshmi nods
She tells him to eat his medicine, but he instead opens his mouth and waits for her to place the tablet in his mouth
She does, making an annoyed expression, while Rishi grazes her finger tips, she was about to take her hand back, but Rishi holds her arm, and makes her keep her hand close to his face
He made her feel his cheeks and dig her fingers in his freshly shaved beard, he stoped after a while, and was just holding her hand lightly
Lakshmi had taken control of the touch and felt his facial features, creating havoc in him, which was unknowingly rising
Their moment is broken when Lakshmi's dadi calls her
She goes there and gives her her medicines, takes her blessings and goes back to her room
She sees Rishi trying to reach for the glass of water, and quickly goes there, she takes the glass of water and sits down with him
She helps him drink the water while he smiles at her
She makes him lie down and places a pillow below his arms, so that they warm up, she sits next to him comfortably and starts massaging his head, by running her cold fingertips in his wet hair, she continues to create magic in his hair, while he lovingly stares at her
After a while, when he had fallen asleep, Lakshmi tried to get up, but felt hi hand tightly securing hers, she smiled and reluctantly lied back down next to him in a comfortable position, and dozed off...
