SOMETHING LIKE SCALES

   Michelle grabbed her iPad and proceeded to Canva, she found a template closest to what she desired and titled it "the perfect surprise" and began brainstorming. She jotted down " why not just throw a legit surprise pregnancy reveal, balloons everywhere, cookies with sonograms attached, a garland in the middle with huge letter balloons spelling out "then there was 3", and maybe having an ice breaker game where calvin and I sit in the middle and i reveal to him he will be a father as he tries to read my lips with music blasting in his ears. That way our family will be surprised and so will he. A few minutes went by and Michelle decided to reveal the pregnancy to Calvin at home through the same game and then have him join her to surprise their families.
   Michelle opened her eyes as the sun began to rise and the ray of light complemented her Husband, he was her view. Her hands now caressing his face, emotions of love filled her heart causing her to smile from ear to ear.whispering " I can't wait until you find out that you will be a father later on!, you have no idea" she giggled at a sleeping Calvin, kissing him deeply and awakened Calvin from his rest and he said "Good Morning beautiful". The next minute as they became intimate with their eyes, both uttered at the same time "I love you". "I'm going to get up and make breakfast, i will not fall for this trap again because we'll be here all day" Calvin said giving her one more kiss he proceeded to the restroom, freshened up, and made his way to the kitchen. Michelle laughed in response to Calvin, watching him exit their bedroom. Michelle then arose and began to make the bed thinking of the best time to present this game to Calvin.
     The aroma from the breakfast filled the dining room while Calvin and Michelle ate together catching up on the lastest.when Calvin asked Michelle to share which scripture she's been challenged by she took that opportunity to ask him "babe can we do this challenge" showing him the YouTube video. Calvin being the competitor he was, completely forgot the question he asked and said " there's nothing I'm not good at, let's play before we leave tonight" it was saturday also known as date night. Waking up from a lengthy nap it was already time to get prepared for date night. Hoping straight into the shower Calvin yelled "Michelle, I forgot my towel can you bring it to me please" Michelle rolled her eyes comically and said" who forgets their towel before showering, that's the most essential item to grab" walking towards the bathroom to hand him his towel she says "you could've just walked out naked" giving me the look. Calvin grabbed the towel and said " do not start that we have a challenge to play so i can beat you and a dinner/movie to make on TIME!. Now start getting ready he said slowly giving Michelle goosebumps.
         Michelle's ear drums were abused by Calvin singing along to " the one you love" ft chandler moore. She watched him sing while fixing his chain in the mirror. Calvin took a journey through his thoughts of how far God has brought him and with unconditional love, his singing turned into worship. Michelle allowed him to have his moment alone and began to get ready herself. She loved getting dressed in the bathroom while it was still steamy as a plan to combat the wave of cold air behind the opening of the door. Both now dressed and filling each other's confidence tank with compliments, Calvin loved how she styled her natural hair and she loved his flow of creativity through his clothes, how good he smelled, and he always wanted to match with at least one color she would wear.
