Days had passed, and after a few days of training, and especially teaching their older son more about the force, the Skywalkers decided to have fun in that wonderful morning.
It was a hot day, and they all decided to make a family picnic, near one of the many lakes around.
At that moment, Ines was sitting on top of the towel, with her 7 months old baby, that was taking his afternoon nap, under the wonderful shadow of the many trees, while her husband was in the water with Ben, and the twins.
Right now, Luke was teaching them how to rise a rock with the force and made it jump above water for a while, before it sunk again.
The girls were having a little trouble, but their first born was becoming really good, since it was the third time he was able to make the small rock jump 4 times above water, before it disappeared.
"Father I did it again. Did you see that, mom?" Ben asked looking at his mother.
"Yes I did. Very good." she said, laughing when Padmé throw the small rock she had on her hands and crossed her arms in frustration.
"Padmé, sweetheart, it is okay if you can't do it the first time. Papa wasn't good either the first time he tried it." Luke said removing the wet hair from her forehead.
"You really have your aunt's temper," Ines laughed. "And mine too."
Alli was able to make her rock jump once too, which made her look at her father with a big smile, which make Luke look also very proud at her.
"Papa did you see?"
"Yes I did. Very good baby girl," he said to her.
"Mama," she asked looked at Ines.
"Of course I did," Ines smiled at her daughter.
Padmé started to pout, looking at her father.
"Oh sweetie, you will do it too," he said leaning down and kissed the top of her head.
"Here Padmé, I will teach you," Ben said approaching his younger sister.
Grabbing a small, round rock, he put it on her right hand.
"Just close your eyes and imagine this rock in your mind. Just like you do with your toys, remember?" he asked her, making the little girl nod. "Then imagine it floating and when you do that just throw it closer to the water."
Looking at her older brother, Padmé close her eyes and did what he told her, and after a while, she was able to throw the small rock, making it jump twice, something that her twin was not able to do yet.
Seeing what she did, she clapped her hands and looked at her father with a big smile on her face.
"Papa, I did it," she said.
"I knew you could do it," He smiled back at her leaning down and kissed her cheeks all proud.
"Nice, Padmé," her twin said hugging her.
"Very nice Ben, teaching your sister that," Ines said looking at her son.
"Well, I only get upset with them when they touch my toys without my permission, but other than that, I love my sisters," the 5 years old boy said looking at them.
"Thank you Ben," Padmé said and hugged her brother, who hugged her back, making Luke and Ines smiled at the scene.
Getting out of the water, Luke grabbed a towel and wrapped it around him, he sat down next to his wife and baby son, who was fast asleep, making Luke smiled at his boy.
"Tired already, old man?" Ines said making Luke looked at his wife with frown.
"Excuse me, old man?" he said and with a smirked, he whispered, "I don't remember you call me old man, last night, right?"
"Luke, stop it," Ines laughed and kissed him on the lips.
After pulling apart, they stare at the kids who were now having fun in the water, laughing and swimming.
"You had a great idea to make a pause on the training," she started smile at them.
"It is a nice, hot, sunny day and I want to have some fun with my kids too. I never had the chance to have fun in an environment like this, so I want our kids to enjoy it as much as they can. That is why I make sure we go to Varykino every summer."
Ines smiled at him, and ran her right hand on his wet, blond hair.
"Sometimes I forget you grew up in a place where you didn't have any of this," she said looking around.
"I always wanted to leave that planet," he nod.
"But now you don't mind to return once in a while," she smiled at him.
"It is home after all and I want our kids to know where their father came from and the fact that not everyone lives in such nice conditions like they do."
Ines looked at their children and nod. Luke was right about that.
"Well at least you still have the chance to do that. Our kids will never be able to see Alderaan. Only in images and pictures. So when I'm in Varykino or here, surrounding by nature, it feels a little bit like home too," she said smiling sadly, remembering the beautiful woods and lakes that her home planet had.
"I bet you and Leia had a lot of fun back then," Luke replied making Ines looked at him.
"Well more like getting in trouble, I mean your sister was an expert to make us in trouble," she told him, making Luke frown.
Before he could ask her, the kids came out of the water, and grabbing the towels, she wrapped Alli around it, while Luke did that to Padmé, pulling the little girl on his lap, while she grabbed the egg sandwich that was inside the basket.
Kissing the top of her, Luke hold her closer to him. He didn't want his daughter to ever think that he loved her twin more than her. He loved them both the same way.
Ben sat down closer to them, making Luke wrapped his right arm around his first born.
"Mom, you used to get in trouble when you were young?" he asked, indicating he heard what she was talking about.
"Oh yeah. And like I was saying, I can thank your aunt Leia for that," she replied pulling Alli between her legs, while make sure baby Luke was still fast asleep.
"I would love to see mama in time out," Padmé said making Luke laughed.
"Well we got much worse than that, young lady," she told her, making Alli turned and face her mother.
"Really mama?"
"Yes. It was because one of those escapes to the woods that we got kidnapped," she said remembering that awful.
"You got what?" Luke asked with wide eyes.
"You heard. Actually it was when I met your godfather Ben," she said looking at her son.
"Tell us mom," the almost 6 years old boy asked her.
"Now I want to hear that story too. Right girls?" Luke asked looking at the twins, making them smiled and nod.
"Tell mama," Padmé and Alli asked at the same time.
Sighing Ines smiled at the memories.
"Okay, so it all started when Mama and Aunt Leia were 10 years old," she started...
The kids are learning how to do something fun and Ben is such a good brother.
